A clash of red and white? Shang Yu never imagined he would have such a dream, and it certainly wasn't some prank played by Ma Qing'er. On the side of the white lanterns, a massive, pitch-black coffin appeared in silence. It emanated an eerie aura, as if burdened with endless sorrow and grief. Faint mist swirled around it, rendering the entire scene more mysterious and desolate. In front of the coffin was a funeral procession. The participants were dressed in mourning clothes, their faces solemn, their footsteps heavy and synchronized. Some held soul-summoning banners, others carried wreaths, and some bore offerings. The flowers on the wreaths had long since withered, scattering onto the ground, and the crowd trampled over the fallen petals as they moved. Under the glow of the white lanterns, the entire funeral procession appeared exceptionally bleak. Their figures flickered in and out of the mist, and Shang Yu could not make out their features. The coffin, carried by several people, sat at the center of the procession, looking heavy enough to crush the earth. On the side of the red lanterns, a bright red bridal sedan chair fluttered in the wind, its vibrant silk adorned with exquisite patterns, exuding a festive atmosphere. The chair was surrounded by a crowd in gorgeous attire, their faces wreathed in joyous smiles, with laughter and chatter echoing through the air. Nearby, a band played lively music.
