Monk Shenxiu’s dusty monk’s robe suddenly billowed, and he gathered the void within his dark, cavernous sleeves toward Zhou Tieyi. In Zhou Tieyi’s eyes, those sleeves seemed to swell against the wind, encompassing the space for a radius of ten feet, suppressing the daylight until it dimmed like candlelight, leaving his mind feeling scattered and drifting like duckweed. A flash of lightning arrived before it was even perceived, stabbing from Zhou Tieyi’s side toward the sleeve. The purple thunder reopened the pivot of yin and yang, shattering the boundary between that ten-foot space and the outside world, causing the daylight to flare up once more.
