Black and white, like two giant fish swimming in a river, they swung the rules of life and death, shaking the very foundations of the impractical Buddhism that permeated this realm.
The green bodhi trees, neither withered nor flourishing, began to wilt. Old monks who had lived for a decade without change in this Buddha Land began to decay and rot. This was the fundamental law of the world; they had merely used this unrealistic Buddha Land to escape the scrutiny of heaven and earth. Now, as the connection between life and death shattered the barriers of the realm, those who had stolen their lives were naturally forced to repay their life debts twofold.
