The weather these past few days has been terrible, with rain pouring down once more. Just like last time, Suchen sought shelter in the pavilion, but old, painful memories stirred within him, prompting him to step out and stand directly in the torrential downpour. His disheveled hair and clothes clung to his soaked frame, making him look exceptionally pitiful.
Having finished up at school, Lika was on her way back when she spotted Suchen standing out in the pouring rain. She quickly opened her umbrella, though the space underneath was terribly cramped, bringing their bodies flush against one another.
Standing close beside Suchen under her small umbrella, Lika found it rather crowded, and her left shoulder gradually grew damp from the driving rain.
