Suchen had another dream late at night. This time, Lika had a rather unpleasant personality, but Suchen didn't mind, adopting the mindset of just hanging in there for eight minutes. Why eight minutes? Because one hour in the real world equaled one minute in the dream world, so even though it was under ten minutes, it felt exceptionally long.
Liliana learned that her daughter's castle had been occupied, so she dispatched troops to take it back, and today was the day Suchen returned to the palace. Princess Lika sat upon the throne, looking down at Suchen from above, and then tossed a rose onto the floor. "Little brother, you've returned." Suchen replied, "Yes, I have."
Lika gave a contemptuous smile. "How utterly useless. It took you so long to come back—I thought you had died out there." Riya had been following Liliana throughout this dream, and upon hearing her older sister speak this way, she chimed in, "Sister, you're being so harsh to our little brother." Lika turned her gaze toward Riya, the corners of her mouth curling up slightly. "You think so too? Could it be that your heart aches for him?"
