On a bright and sunny Saturday, Suchen arrived at Lika's mansion dressed in a simple yet tasteful outfit. Pushing open the massive wooden door, Suchen was greeted by a spacious entryway.
The floor was covered with a soft wool carpet, creating a quiet and elegant atmosphere. Suchen raised his head and saw Lika walking down the stairs, behind which was a glass wall offering a view of a beautiful backyard.
Lika wore a gorgeous and elegant long dress, the hem fluttering lightly as if she were a dancing fairy. Her glossy, jet-black hair was swept up into an exquisite bun, with a few strands gently brushing against her jade-white cheeks, making her look even more ethereal and graceful.
In the brilliant sunlight, Lika's suet-jade skin emitted a mesmerizing glow, so delicate and smooth it seemed as though it could drip with water.
She smiled slightly, her beautiful eyes shimmering with endless charm as she softly said to Suchen, "Welcome to my home." Her voice was crisp and melodious, sounding like heavenly music that left anyone instantly captivated.
Lika slowly set her teacup back down on the table, then gracefully leaned back against the luxurious and comfortable sofa. Tilting her head slightly, she reached out with slender, tapered fingers to gently stroke her silk-smooth hair, her movement soft and full of charm.
Accompanied by a crisp, pleasant sound, Lika spoke softly, "Come over and have a drink with me." Her voice seemed to carry an irresistible magic.
As her words trailed off, she lightheartedly stood up and turned toward a nearby table, where a crystal-clear bottle of red wine and several exquisite wine glasses were placed.
Lika walked up to the table, reached out to grip the neck of the bottle, and carefully lifted the red wine bottle. She tilted the opening, letting the deep red wine flow slowly into the glass.
The red wine swirled and flowed in the glass, emitting a faint aroma. Lika watched the wine in the glass intently, a hint of dazed intoxication in her eyes.
"Alright," Suchen said.
Lika lifted her glass and gently swirled it. "Come on, finish this glass of wine and see if you can still keep a clear head."
"Okay," Suchen replied. He downed a glass of red wine. Watching him finish the drink, Lika curved the corners of her lips into a smile. "It seems you're a good drinking companion."
Lika gently set her glass down on the table with a crisp sound. Then, she smiled and clapped her hands, turning her gaze toward Suchen with a curious glint in her eyes as she asked, "So, what should we do now?"
Suchen gazed quietly at Lika for a moment before slowly speaking, "Get to know you." His voice was deep and gentle, seeming to carry an inexplicable attraction.
Hearing this, the corners of Lika's mouth curved upward slightly, sketching a charming smile. She archly raised an eyebrow and replied, "Oh? And what is it you want to know about this young lady?" Her tone revealed a hint of playfulness and confidence, as if brimming with curiosity.
"Can you share your background and privacy with me?" Suchen asked.
Lika chuckled softly and said, "My background and privacy? That's not a simple request."
Suchen looked at Lika with a steady gaze and said, "For you, it is." His voice was deep and powerful, seeming to hold endless depth.
Upon hearing this, Lika turned around, her gaze cold and filled with disdain. She bit her lip tightly as if wanting to say something, but ultimately held back.
Lika raised her head, looking down at Suchen from a condescending posture, and coldly replied, "Who do you think you are? What qualification do you have to make such demands of me?"
Faced with Lika's interrogation, Suchen did not shrink back. He took a deep breath and continued, "Considering I've helped you this much."
Lika fell silent for a moment, then slowly spoke, "Fine then, since you're so persistent, I'll tell you a few things about myself."
"Good," Suchen said.
Lika walked over to the bed and sat down, a hint of sorrow revealing itself in her eyes. "I was born into an aristocratic family and received the finest education since childhood. However, because of my family background, I've never really had any friends."
The corners of Suchen's mouth rose slightly. "You do now." His voice was very soft, yet carried a quiet determination.
Lika was slightly stunned, then gave a self-deprecating smile and shook her head. "Yes, now I have you as a friend." A flash of loneliness crossed her eyes. She sighed softly and continued, "Because of the stark disparity in status and standing, I've always felt out of place with others and could only deliberately keep a certain distance from them."
Lika's tone was filled with helplessness, as if this loneliness had accompanied her for a very long time, while Suchen, standing before her at this moment, had become the only person with whom she could pour out her heart.
"Then why did you accept me?" Suchen asked.
"Perhaps because you're different from the others. You didn't deliberately cozy up to me because of my status."
The corners of Suchen's mouth lifted, a trace of anticipation shining in his eyes as he softly said, "Perhaps our relationship can progress even further, sublimating from friends." His voice was deep and magnetic, seeming to possess a certain magic.
Hearing these words, Lika couldn't help but freeze, a shy blush instantly blooming across her face. Her gaze darted away, not daring to meet Suchen's eyes, and her lips parted slightly. "Sublimating? You mean..."
Suchen seemed to sense Lika's shyness. He stepped slightly closer, narrowing the distance between them, and asked again in a gentle tone, "Would you like that?" His eyes were filled with sincerity and warmth, making him impossible to resist.
Lika's heartbeat involuntarily accelerated. Lowering her head, she fidgeted with the hem of her clothes and stammerously replied, "I... I don't know."
At this moment, Lika's heart was in deep conflict. On one hand, she held a special fondness for Suchen; on the other hand, she was afraid that taking that step would cause her to lose this precious friendship.
"Take your time," Suchen said.
Lika slowly raised her head, a hint of shyness in her eyes. "Actually, I also hope we can develop our relationship further, but I want us to take it slowly and not rush into success."
"Of course," Suchen said.
"I believe that as long as we treat each other sincerely, there will surely be a good outcome."
"Would you like to try it tomorrow?" Suchen asked, his voice soft and deep.
A blush spread across Lika's face. She hesitated slightly, then softly replied, "Try? You mean a date?" Her gaze met Suchen's, her eyes sparkling with shyness and joy.
Suchen nodded and smiled. "Yes, I want to go experience some wonderful things with you."
Lika paused, a wave of sweetness welling up in her heart. She raised her head, looked into Suchen's eyes, and smiled as she answered, "Alright, see you tomorrow then." Her voice was full of anticipation, as if she were already beginning to dream of the surprises tomorrow's date would bring.
