Suchen was working a part-time job at a small café when he suddenly noticed Lika walking in. Dressed in gorgeous attire and exuding an air of elegance and grace, she instantly caught everyone's attention.
The weekend café was filled with the rich aroma of coffee, with wisps of hot steam rising from smooth, pure white porcelain cups. In this quiet corner, a silver-haired girl with crimson eyes sat with an air of nobility, her lavish outfit setting her apart from the crowd.
Amidst the bustling throng of people, Lika's gaze was unexpectedly drawn to a single person—Suchen. This discovery left her thoroughly surprised, as she had never seen him come here before.
At that moment, Suchen stood quietly off to the side with a faint smile on his face. When he felt Lika's scrutinizing gaze, he showed not the slightest trace of panic or awkwardness, appearing instead remarkably calm and composed.
He walked silently over to the coffee machine and operated it with practiced ease. Soon, he had brewed a fragrant cup of coffee for Lika, then picked up the steaming cup and walked slowly over to her, placing it on the table right in front of her.
Throughout the entire process, his movements were graceful and natural, as if everything were the most natural thing in the world. As for Lika, she stared at the cup of coffee before her, an indescribable emotion welling up in her heart.
Her gaze swept over Suchen, looking him up and down as if searching for flaws, before she parted her crimson lips. "Judging by your outfit, do you work here?"
"Yes," Suchen replied.
Lika picked up the coffee cup and took a light sip. "Your taste isn't half bad. This young lady quite likes the coffee at this place."
"Oh, as long as you're satisfied." Lika swirled the coffee in her cup, her gaze drifting toward the window. "But why would someone like you be working a job here?"
Suchen didn't answer immediately, thinking to himself: *Lika's treating this coffee like red wine.*
"Do you think I look rich?" Suchen asked. "If I don't work here, where else would I go?"
Lika smiled faintly and said, "That's not it. It's just that someone with your extraordinary temperament would usually choose a better job."
"Oh, come on," Suchen retorted. "A high schooler from an ordinary school picking and choosing while working a part-time job? Really?"
A flash of surprise crossed Lika's eyes, which quickly returned to calm. "It seems you know quite a lot about me."
"Of course. After all, the two of us have shared quite a few intimate moments."
Hearing this, Lika blushed in agreement, set her cup down gracefully, and looked directly into his eyes. "I was just wondering, why would someone with abilities like yours come to work in a small place like this?"
"I didn't have any other choice."
Lika let out a soft sigh. "I see. It seems we are both at the mercy of circumstances."
"True, we all have our own hidden struggles."
With that, Suchen went back to his busy routine. Seeing him hard at work, Lika said, "You must be exhausted."
"Lika, is there something else you need?"
"Can't I come see you if there's nothing wrong?"
"Of course you can."
Lika sat gracefully in her chair, her hands crossed in her lap. "Actually, I quite like the atmosphere in your shop."
"I'm just a part-time worker, I'm not used to hearing talk like that."
"Don't say that. Everyone has their own value."
"Alright." A strange, brilliant gleam flashed through Lika's eyes. "Besides, I think you have much more charm than the owner of this place."
"Perhaps your taste is just different from everyone else's."
"Maybe so. In my eyes, you're much more attractive than those self-righteous scions of wealthy families."
"And I certainly live up to it."
"That's right, you do."
Just then, an unwelcome guest arrived—Elena. Seeing Elena, a flash of disgust crossed Lika's eyes. "What are you doing here?"
Elena shot Lika a provocative look and draped her hand over Suchen's shoulder. Because Suchen was busy working, he didn't react in time.
Lika's brow furrowed tightly as she glared at Elena. "Take your hand off him."
Hearing this, Suchen realized what was happening. Seeing Elena's hand resting on his shoulder, he rudely brushed it off and walked over to Lika's side.
A satisfied smile curved the corners of Lika's lips. "Well handled."
"This Elena is such a green tea bitch," Suchen muttered.
"Exactly, that's just the kind of person she is."
Elena walked over. "Well, well, Lika gracing us with her presence. What a rare sight."
"Elena, what are you doing here again?" Yes, *again*—implying that this wasn't Elena's first time here.
Elena looked at Lika provocatively. "Weren't you here too?"
A trace of disgust flashed in Lika's eyes, and her tone turned icy. "I'm merely here to drink a cup of coffee."
"Why don't we go to a private room, order some coffee, and chat slowly?" Elena suggested.
Lika frowned deeply, her voice freezing. "There's no need. I don't like sharing a room with someone like you."
"What a pity. I actually wanted to have a nice chat with you."
Lika let out a cold snort, a hint of disdain flashing in her crimson eyes. "Chat about what? Your boring and childish little tricks?"
Elena's gaze toward Suchen was extremely strange, as if she were appraising a commodity. Noticing Elena's abnormal stare, Lika snapped, "Take that filthy look off your face."
Elena reached out, wanting to touch Suchen. Lika slapped Elena's hand away instantly, a flash of anger burning in her crimson eyes. "Get lost!"
"Hmph, we'll be seeing each other again," Elena said, turning on her heel and leaving.
After Elena left, Suchen let out a breath of relief. Lika looked at him, a trace of gentleness in her eyes. "I'm sorry you had to see that."
"Sigh, what a mood killer."
"It's alright, let's go somewhere else."
"It's fine, no need. I'll brew you a cup of coffee," Suchen said.
A flash of pleasant surprise crossed Lika's eyes. "Really? Thank you so much!"
Suchen began brewing coffee for Lika with fluid, effortless movements. "Here you go."
Lika took the coffee, took a small sip, and a look of satisfaction appeared in her eyes. "Mmm, tastes good."
"Would you like me to feed it to you in a special way?"
Lika looked at him with interest, a flicker of anticipation dancing in her crimson eyes. "What way?"
Suchen took a mouthful of the coffee and leaned in to kiss Lika. Lika's eyes widened, her face turning completely red. When the kiss ended, a look of shyness lingered in Lika's eyes as she parted her slightly swollen lips. "You!"
"How does it taste?" Suchen asked.
Lika pouted playfully. "It tastes good, but you..."
"Didn't I feed you this way last time too?"
Blushing fiercely, Lika said, "That... that was different."
"Are you happy?"
"Mmm, very happy. Can we do it again next time?"
"Of course."
A blissful smile bloomed on Lika's face as she parted her crimson lips. "Then it's a deal."
