Li Li tightened her grip on Shoumanwu and was the first to step into the pitch-black entrance of the ruins. Behind her, the cultivators from the Dao Pavilion and the Cards followed closely, the atmosphere heavy and tense. This ancient ruin had existed for far too long, remaining hidden ever since the fall of the ancient era. With no knowledge of what lay inside, they had to be exceptionally cautious.
The corridor was filled with an air of decay, and a faint, ghostly green light shimmered on the walls, as if countless eyes were peering at them from the darkness. Li Li kept Shoumanwu at the very front to clear the path, while the others followed carefully behind. Soon, strange gasping sounds emanated from ahead, and after rounding a corner, they found themselves in a vast stone chamber. In the center sat a stone pedestal, atop which rested an object radiating a soft glow.
It looked like... a compass.
