The Bear Clan's settlement was noticeably much more picturesque than the Antelope Tribe's, looking from a distance like a proper village. Three sides were enclosed by log walls, with the back leaning against a steep cliff.
A watchtower stood on each side of the main gate, though no bears were stationed there on guard duty; they looked more like decorative fixtures.
