After briefing everyone on the situation, Si Ren wasted no time and hurried toward Luoxu Town, located at the intersection of Sichuan, Tibet, and Qinghai.
The town is under the jurisdiction of Shiqu County, in the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province. Situated in the southwestern part of Shiqu County, it lies in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River valley. It borders Changxu Ganhma Township to the west, and the town government seat is 75 kilometers away from the county town. The town administers one community and 17 administrative villages, covering a total area of 659.11 square kilometers. By the end of 2019, Luoxu Town had a registered population of 5,886.
Si Ren’s mission took him all the way from the northernmost tip of China to the southwest, virtually spanning the entire country. He had literally ridden four paper cranes to pieces along the way.
