Ru Shou is the God of Metal, also known as the Autumn God, who governs the autumn harvest of all things, metal smelting, and penal law. The other four gods are: the Wood God, Gou Mang, also known as the Spring God, who oversees the sprouting and growth of trees, symbolizing the vitality and energy of spring; the Water God, Xuan Ming, also known as the Winter God, who commands wind and rain and spreads plagues; and the Fire God, Zhu Rong, also known as the Summer God, whose ability controls the growth cycle of plants, bringing light and hope to humanity, while also serving as a god of war. Finally, there is the Earth God, Hou Tu, also known as the Mother of Earth, who rules over the great earth and mountains, symbolizing the boundless love of the earth and the capacity to nurture all things.
