Speaking of the terrain, Quli Village was indeed rather strange. The village backed against mountains on three sides, leaving only a single exit. Viewed from high above, it looked as though the village was clutched tightly in the palm of a giant claw. Moreover, it was extremely remote, with no second village within a fifty-kilometer radius. The roads had gone unrepaired for years and were in a terrible state of disrepair. After a heavy downpour, driving a vehicle across them would likely be impossible. It was hard to imagine such a wretched road existing anywhere in the country.
