When the Three Pure Ones split their household, Master Tongtian took Xuanqing and headed all the way east until they encountered an immortal mountain over the East Sea. It was shaped like a giant tortoise, with primordial spiritual Qi so dense on the mountain that it had liquefied, forming forests of towering trees. Agile spiritual apes frolicked across the mountain streams, and celestial cranes soared in spirals among the groves—truly a harmonious celestial paradise.
Master Tongtian immediately settled down on Jinao Island, accepting disciples far and wide and lecturing daily on the Great Dao without discrimination, causing Jiejiao to faintly show signs of flourishing.
At the same time, Laozi of Taiqing settled on Mount Shouyang, building the Eight Views Palace to serve as his dojo. He accepted a human disciple with great perseverance, spending his days refining pills and lecturing on the Dao, living in absolute ease and comfort.
