Through Erlangshen's narration on the Celestial Screen, the various planes watched as Yaoji descended to the mortal realm, pursued the evil dragon Three-Headed Dragon, and engaged in a fierce battle lasting a full five minutes.
On the screen, Yaoji shed her battle armor and changed into a suit of pure white robes. Her movements were agile as she dodged the attacks of the Three-Headed Dragon time and again, every strike and stance of the treasured sword in her hand executed with precision. The Three-Headed Dragon also transformed into human form and fought dozens of rounds with the goddess.
Ordinarily, the Three-Headed Dragon would never have been a match for the goddess Yaoji, but it had swallowed a dragon pearl, which vastly increased its strength and forced Yaoji into perilous situations during several of their clashes.
