Yun Yao took a taxi to the location Su Yuchen had sent. Watching the scenery fly past outside the window, she took out her phone and sent a message to Luohong.
[Yun Yao: Buy me a car.]
Without a car, it was inconvenient to go anywhere, and since she didn't like being followed, she had no intention of hiring a driver.
Luohong quickly sent back several images.
[Luohong: Ancestor, these are all worldwide limited editions. Which one would you like?]
Yun Yao’s slender fingers swiped across the screen, but none of them satisfied her.
[Yun Yao: These are all too flashy.]
Suddenly, Yun Yao remembered something.
[Yun Yao: I just want a Volkswagen with the letters underneath the logo.]
Luohong didn't reply for a long time, but Yun Yao wasn't in a hurry. Seeing that she had reached her destination, she tucked her phone back into her bag.
As she pushed open the door to the coffee shop, a waiter greeted her.
"Hello, miss. Do you have a reservation?"
"Su Yuchen."
The waiter’s expression shifted slightly, his demeanor becoming respectful.
"Right this way, please."
As the waiter lightly touched the door handle, the private room door slowly opened. Before anyone inside could react, a figure swept in like a gust of wind.
Yun Yao sat down beside Su Yuchen, resting her chin lightly against the tabletop, her eyes flashing with intense interest.
"Hubby, did you miss me?"
Veins pulsed on Su Yuchen’s forehead as he resisted the urge to curse.
"Sit properly."
Yun Yao sat up straight, acting obedient. Seeing the waiter lingering, she gave a light wave of her hand, and the private room door closed silently.
"Hubby, you took the initiative to ask me out, so why are you still wearing that sour face? Can’t you smile?" With bright, piercing eyes, Yun Yao reached out to pull at the mask on Su Yuchen’s face.
Su Yuchen caught her hand, his expression unchanging as he spoke, "Since we are already married, it’s only natural that I introduce a few friends to you."
Yun Yao’s gaze fell on Su Yuchen’s hand, and her other hand gently covered it.
"Oh? Really?" Her tone rose, a hint of undetectable danger hidden in her words.
She had assumed this would be a gesture of goodwill from Su Yuchen, but she hadn’t expected others to be coming.
Yun Yao was very unhappy now.
She calmly pulled her hand back, picked up the coffee in front of Su Yuchen, and lowered her eyes to take a sip.
Su Yuchen realized the change in Yun Yao’s mood, but considering the purpose of this outing, he suppressed his inner impatience and waited quietly.
The private room was spacious and quiet; one could hear a pin drop.
Yun Yao stared at the coffee in her cup.
Just then, the door to the room was suddenly pushed open from the outside.
The monk-like man had changed into casual clothes today and was wearing a hat, looking no different from an ordinary person; the bearded man was also dressed quite plainly.
They pushed the door open and entered, their gazes immediately drawn to Yun Yao.
That figure like a fairy, the flawless side profile, and that unworldly temperament were unforgettable, leaving them intoxicated at first sight.
It wasn't until Su Yuchen gave a light cough that they finally came to their senses.
The two men sat down, but their eyes still drifted toward Yun Yao from time to time.
Yun Yao, however, had not raised her head once from start to finish; to her, these two were not even worth a direct glance.
She had sensed the aura of those charlatans the moment they arrived.
Su Yuchen’s intentions were obvious, but Yun Yao had no desire to expose his secrets.
Her good mood from earlier had vanished without a trace.
She let herself think about how she should punish the mastermind behind all this.
While she was lost in thought, the monk-like man opposite her began to chant.
He mumbled incoherently, and as his voice grew louder, the coffee cups on the table began to shake.
Yun Yao’s expression dimmed as she turned to look at Su Yuchen.
"Hubby, this cup has grown legs! Do you see that?"
Su Yuchen pretended not to notice, ignoring Yun Yao entirely.
Yun Yao sneered coldly in her heart, slammed her hand onto the table, and every coffee cup shattered instantly.
"Pfft!" The monk-like man spat out a mouthful of blood.
He clutched his chest, looking at Yun Yao in disbelief.
"You! You! What on earth are you!"
Yun Yao stood up and looked down at the two men opposite her.
"Get out!"
As her voice sounded, the pupils of both men constricted violently. They stood up uncontrollably, walked toward the door like machines, and even thoughtfully closed the door behind them.
Seeing this, a flash of ruthlessness crossed Su Yuchen’s eyes.
Yun Yao leaned in, her voice cold and hollow.
"Su Yuchen, do you think I'm a ghost? Is that why you invited these two charlatans to disgust me?"
Su Yuchen removed his mask, his expression calm.
"So, what exactly are you?"
Yun Yao suppressed the urge to slap the man in front of her to death.
"I am your Ancestor!"
Su Yuchen’s expression was icy.
"Since we are married as you wished, why can we not be honest with each other?"
Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated.
Yun Yao looked at that face, which had remained motionless from start to finish, and suddenly realized.
So this guy was waiting for her right here!
Very well!
Yun Yao turned and fell directly into Su Yuchen’s arms, her presence as intoxicating as a pool of water.
"Hubby, if you wanted to know something, you could have just asked me directly. Why bother having others test me?"
Su Yuchen resisted the inner discomfort, wanting to push Yun Yao away.
But the moment he met her eyes, all his strength dissolved, leaving him helpless.
She was like a succubus wanting to devour him whole; in front of her, all his methods seemed pale and ineffective.
"Yun Yao, tell me your conditions."
Su Yuchen believed that all love at first sight in this world had a motive, and Yun Yao was no exception.
Yun Yao reached out to trace Su Yuchen’s brows and eyes.
Tsk, this face truly possessed the Creator’s partiality.
If he truly refused to submit, she would build a golden cage, lock Su Yuchen inside, and keep him to play with and admire for all eternity.
"Yun Yao!"
Su Yuchen absolutely loathed the way Yun Yao was looking at him like prey.
Yun Yao snapped back to reality, her thin lips parting slightly.
"My conditions?"
"Yes."
"Very simple. I only want you."
Killing intent flickered in Su Yuchen’s beautiful eyes.
"Name a price, I can satisfy you."
Yun Yao knew this guy wasn't simple.
"But aren't you just a foolish young master of the Su Family? Can you afford my price?"
Su Yuchen immediately understood her meaning.
"As long as you can leave me, I’ll give you everything I have."
Yun Yao frowned.
"You hate me that much?"
"Yes."
More than just hate, he wished he could drink her blood and eat her flesh!
Yun Yao’s temper flared, and she straddled Su Yuchen’s lap.
"Fine! Since you hate me to the core anyway, I don’t mind making you hate me even more!"
With a "rip" sound, Yun Yao tore open Su Yuchen’s clothes.
She raised her hand and slowly formed a fist in the air.
Su Yuchen watched as a milky-white light barrier enveloped the private room they were in.
"Yun Yao! What are you trying to do!"
Yun Yao looked at Su Yuchen, speaking without a hint of emotion.
"Since there is no affection to speak of, then I will no longer indulge you."
"Su Yuchen, you will be mine for the rest of your life."
