The most severe cases were missing limbs; though bandaged, it was obvious they had received no further medical treatment. At that moment, the officer who had been leading the group earlier walked over. He looked at the wounded soldiers by the wall, let out a quiet sigh, and asked Hao Qi, "Which block are you from? How come you're only coming out on the streets half a month later? You couldn't possibly have been hiding in a basement like in the movies, could you?"
