If any of you enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons rules, you should know that characters of the chaotic good alignment often turn out this way. This doesn't mean I am incapable of writing a lawful character—isn't the distant era of the Human Alliance considered a lawful alignment? That is as standard a lawful alignment as they come; it's simply that the protagonist of *Chivalry Walks the World* happens to be this way.
As for people calling the System genre cliché, or claiming that starting out by falling out with the orphanage director is cliché, or saying that whenever the protagonist speaks up he gets mocked and ridiculed by certain people, and then using all this to judge the book as garbage—there really are too many such complaints to count. Words fail me when I think about it.
