Ruhuahua stood in place for a moment, unsure of what she could do with herself. After daydreaming for a bit, she remembered that the back of the spring robe she was wearing had been snagged and torn. Hesitating briefly, she slipped to the other side of the tent to change out of it, then went outside to borrow a needle and thread.
Occasionally, the soldiers would mend their own clothes when they got torn, but the only thread they had was a single dark color, which was not at all what she wanted. A soldier directed her to the Chunfang.
The women in the Chunfang often did needlework for a fee, so they kept a complete stock of sewing supplies.
