Yan Xiao'er curiously leaned out of the carriage window, observing that the carved balustrades on the buildings along the street were mostly crafted from exotic stones and precious woods, appearing exceptionally exquisite. Guarding each doorway was a family-protecting spirit beast. Upon seeing the unfamiliar carriage draw near, their bodies bristled as they emitted wisps of deep blue spiritual power in a show of hostility.
