"What's going on? We heard the professors say you were found in the Forbidden Forest."
"Weren't you resting in your dormitory last night?" Fred and George wore rare expressions of concern.
"Relax, I'm completely fine." Alistair gave them a reassuring smile.
"You're in the Hospital Wing and you call that fine? You really are thick-skinned, Ali!" Fred spoke a bit too loudly and received a warning glare from Madam Pomfrey nearby.
"I really am fine, maybe I was sleepwalking." Alistair tried to invent a lie to gloss over it.
"Sleepwalking? Stop joking around, do you think you can slip past Professor McGonagall's watch?"
"Honestly, did you sneak out through a secret passageway in the middle of the night?" Fred and George stared at him from either side.
"Fine," Alistair watched Madam Pomfrey walk out of the Hospital Wing, then said in a low voice, "I admit it, I did go out through a secret passageway."
"So you snuck off to the Forbidden Forest!"
"As exciting as that sounds, it's way too dangerous!" George looked at him disapprovingly.
"If you're going to have an adventure, you should at least bring us along! Aren't we your best friends?" Fred said with dissatisfaction.
"The Forbidden Forest isn't as safe as you think, I had no choice..." Alistair waved his hand and said.
