Liu Bufan and Jiang Wan'er immediately perked up their ears. There was an unusual phenomenon over at Tianshan—which meant they had another excuse to go stir up some trouble.
The couple exchanged a glance:
Liu: "Wife, there's a good show happening over at Tianshan. Shall we go?"
Jiang: "Husband, don't you think that's a redundant question?"
Liu: "I feel like we still need to go through the motions. Making arbitrary decisions without asking for the boss's opinion is bad for workplace solidarity." (Raises an eyebrow)
Jiang: "Then I approve. And let me warn you again, little Fan, don't make eyes at me in public, or else if I can't restrain myself, the consequences will be severe." (Warning ??)
They heard someone over there continue:
"Have you heard? Apparently this news is spreading pretty widely in the Taoist circles, though our martial arts circle doesn't seem all that interested. So I'm guessing some Daoist scriptures were unearthed, or it's related to some supernatural incident. Even if some treasure popped up out of nowhere, it wouldn't do much for martial arts cultivation."
