After enjoying an authentic Norwegian special lunch, the two of them eagerly set off to climb Preikestolen, located by Lysefjord. Preikestolen is one of Norway's three famous miraculous rocks. Also known as the "Preacher's Pulpit," it is a flat-topped giant boulder standing knife-cut by the edge of Lysefjord, towering directly over the fjord with a vertical drop of more than 600 meters to the water's surface. It once ranked first in a famous media poll of the "Top 50 Most Magnificent Natural Landscapes in the World." The other two miraculous rocks are: "Trolltunga," a peculiar rock located on a cliff by Hardangerfjord, which from afar looks like a troll sticking out its long tongue; and "Kjeragbolten," also known as the "Braveheart Stone"—a five-cubic-meter boulder wedged in the precipice deep within Lysefjord, 1,020 meters above the valley floor.
