To place an antimatter production device similar to a dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt, one must first know the mass of this spherical device. According to the data retrieved from the Storage Ring, although the volume of the antimatter production device is comparable to that of an asteroid, it is not solid; its mass is mainly concentrated on the ring-shaped particle collider. While the diameter of this collider's ring is 2,000 kilometers and its volume is comparable to a dwarf planet in the Solar System, its mass is merely one-fortieth of Pluto's.
This made the problem much easier to solve. Celestial bodies of such mass are quite common in the Kuiper Belt, and adding one would have little impact on the surrounding space.
