As the cold steel flashed, the bandits let out a chorus of miserable shrieks. In no time, a pile of corpses lay strewn about in every direction. The remaining fifty or so men scrambled into a defensive circle, but they were in such a state of panic they couldn't even keep a firm grip on their scimitars, let alone put up a fight against the battle-hardened Ink Guards.
