All eyes fell instantly on Qin Zhizhi, filled with curiosity and inquiry. Standing straight with a resolute gaze, she spoke in a poised and even tone: "The Immortal and Demon Realms have been at war for years, and both sides have suffered heavy losses. Now that the Peace Summit is underway, this is the prime opportunity to turn hostility into friendship. Would it not be a tragedy to miss this chance over trivial disputes?" Her words were neither biased nor excessive, yet every single sentence struck at the core concerns of both sides.
Neither the Demon Lord nor the Celestial Emperor could remain unmoved. Even the representatives of the two realms, who had been at each other's throats moments before, gradually calmed down and began to consider what Qin Zhizhi had said seriously. "Zhizhi is right. Peace is hard-won, and we must cherish it."
Yin Sichen, who had remained silent until now, suddenly spoke. Although his voice was weak, his tone was full of strength: "As the Young Master of the Demon Realm, I am willing to contribute my own strength to the peace of both realms!" Though severely injured, Yin Sichen still kept the common people in his heart, moving everyone present.
Qin Zhizhi looked at the indomitable man before her, her eyes filled with love and admiration. Through the joint efforts of Qin Zhizhi and Yin Sichen, the atmosphere at the Peace Summit gradually eased. The representatives from both sides set aside their prejudices and began to communicate sincerely, finally reaching a consensus on several key issues.
After days of arduous negotiations, the Immortal and Demon Realms finally signed a peace treaty, bringing a definitive end to this protracted war. When the news reached the two realms, the entire world erupted in jubilation. People ran about sharing the good news, celebrating this hard-won peace. The names of Qin Zhizhi and Yin Sichen became symbols of peace, forever etched in the hearts of the people of both realms.
Their love blossomed even more brilliantly in the sunlight of peace. However, just as everyone was immersed in the joy of peace, a mysterious figure in black quietly appeared in the forbidden grounds of the Demon Realm... Slowly removing the hood, the figure revealed a horrifying face—none other than Qin Jiaojiao, who had previously been imprisoned by the Demon Lord! "Qin Zhizhi, Yin Sichen, don't celebrate too soon! This good show has only just begun!" A mad flame of vengeance flickered in Qin Jiaojiao's eyes, and in her hand, she gripped a black token that exuded a bizarre aura.
Qin Jiaojiao's distorted features and vicious vow did not affect the mortal world. The dawn of peace descended, casting a warm radiance across the land. Following the signing of the treaty between the Immortal and Demon Realms, Qin Zhizhi and Yin Sichen did not indulge in the joy of victory. They knew deeply that this hard-won peace needed to be guarded, and the best way to guard peace was to enable more people to protect themselves.
"I want to establish an Immortal Cultivation Academy in the mortal world." Qin Zhizhi looked out the window at the rising morning sun, determination flashing in her eyes. Yin Sichen gently grasped her hand, his deep eyes full of approval: "Whatever you want to do, I will support you." The power of the System was mighty; with its help, a sprawling Immortal Cultivation Academy rich in spiritual energy rose from the ground.
The academy was open to everyone, regardless of background or talent. As long as one harbored a sense of justice and a desire for power, they could step through this door leading to the cultivation world. Father Qin and Mother Qin became instructors at the academy, passing on everything they had learned in their lifetimes and contributing to its development. Meanwhile, Yin Sichen cast his gaze toward another battlefield—business.
Peace brought opportunities for development. With his acute business sense and decisive leadership, Yin Sichen grew the family business step by step. He led the Yin Group into the international market, venturing into various fields, and ultimately built a massive commercial empire. His name became a legend in the business world, and his achievements were regarded as a standard by countless entrepreneurs. One was a cultivation instructor guarding mortal peace, and the other was a strategic business tycoon. Both Qin Zhizhi and Yin Sichen shone brightly in their respective fields, and their names became symbols of an era. Set against this hopeful backdrop, their love appeared all the more precious.
Yet the gears of fate never stopped turning, and beneath the seemingly calm surface, undercurrents surged. The appearance of Qin Jiaojiao foretold that an even greater storm was approaching... "Zhizhi, have you really made up your mind? Establishing an Immortal Cultivation Academy is no easy task." Father Qin set down his teacup, his brow furrowed with worry.
"Dad, I've already decided." Qin Zhizhi's tone was resolute. "Peace is hard-won; we cannot always rely on the power of the Immortal and Demon Realms. The mortal world also needs the ability to protect itself." Mother Qin took her daughter's hand and said gently, "Zhizhi is right. We are getting old; it's time to do something for the next generation. Your father and I will fully support your decision."
Qin Zhizhi smiled with relief. With her parents' support, she felt even more confident. Meanwhile, in the luxuriously decorated Yin Family Estate, Yin Sichen was reporting on the company's recent business developments to Grandpa Yin. "Grandpa, we have successfully acquired the largest energy company in Europe. Now the Yin Group has become a global leader in the new energy sector." There was a hint of pride in Yin Sichen's tone.
"Good! Good! As expected of my grandson!" Grandpa Yin clapped and laughed heartily, his face full of satisfaction. "Sichen, you've done well. Grandpa is proud of you!"
"Thank you, Grandpa." Yin Sichen smiled modestly, though the gleam in his eyes could not be concealed. "However..." Grandpa Yin's tone suddenly turned serious. "Sichen, you must remember that career is important, but don't forget the essence of life. Care more about Zhizhi, and come home more often, understand?"
Yin Sichen was slightly startled, then nodded: "I know, Grandpa." Grandpa Yin's words struck Yin Sichen's heart like a bolt of lightning. Only then did he realize that he had been so busy with work lately that he seemed to have neglected the most important person by his side.
The night was tender, and moonlight poured into the room like water, casting a hazy glow over the interior. Qin Zhizhi leaned against the head of the bed, leafing through a cultivation manual in her hands, while Yin Sichen sat beside her, processing a mountain of official documents.
"Are you tired?" Qin Zhizhi put down the book, her gaze falling softly on Yin Sichen's sharp profile.
"Not bad." Yin Sichen put down the documents in his hand, rubbed his brow, walked over to the side of the bed, and pulled Qin Zhizhi into his arms. "How about you? Is everything going smoothly with the academy?"
"Everything is going very smoothly." Qin Zhizhi gently rested her head against his chest, listening to his strong heartbeat. "Mom and Dad have helped me a lot, and the academy will be able to officially open soon."
"That's good." Yin Sichen lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "Once the academy opens, we'll have much less to worry about."
"Mmm." Qin Zhizhi closed her eyes, enjoying this rare peace and warmth. Although their lives were busy, they were fulfilling and happy. On weekends, they would drop all work to go on spring outings in the countryside, stroll along the beach, or simply cuddle together, quietly enjoying their world for two. Their love, refined by the passage of time, grew increasingly deep and profound, making others envious.
However, the gears of fate always liked to quietly shift in another direction when people were completely unprepared. One day, while Qin Zhizhi was instructing students in cultivation at the academy, a powerful pressure suddenly descended from the sky, enveloping the entire institution.
"Who goes there?!" Qin Zhizhi's expression changed, and she abruptly raised her head to look at the sky. A massive black flying ship was slowly descending from the heavens. Engraved upon the hull was a bizarre symbol that radiated a spine-chilling, evil aura.
The ship's hatch opened, and a group of people wearing black cloaks walked out. They exuded a freezing aura, their eyes vacant like soulless puppets. The leader slowly removed his hood, revealing a pale yet handsome face. A seductive smile hooked the corners of his mouth: "Qin Zhizhi, we meet at last."
Qin Zhizhi's pupils constricted, and a strong sense of unease surged in her heart. She had never seen this man before, yet he gave her an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Qin Zhizhi asked vigilantly.
"Who I am doesn't matter. What matters is that I know you have a secret." The man slowly raised his hand, and a black vortex appeared in his palm. "A secret concerning the System."
Qin Zhizhi was shocked in her heart. She had never told anyone about the System—how did this man know?
"What do you want?"
"Very simple. Hand over the System, and I can spare your life." The man's tone was icy, his eyes flashing with greedy light.
"Impossible!" Qin Zhizhi refused without hesitation.
"Then don't blame me for being unpolite." The man sneered and waved his hand. "Take her alive!"
The moment the words fell, the black-robed figures behind him surged toward Qin Zhizhi like arrows released from a bowstring...
