Chapter 15

Chapter 15

1,048 words5 minutes read

The unique nature of this universe begins with Vegeta's battle against Cell.
"Cell, do you really think that because you defeated the combined attacks of Kakarot, my son, Gohan, and Piccolo, you are now invincible under the heavens?"
Vegeta asked with a sneer.
Cell replied with absolute confidence: "Vegeta, I have absorbed Android 17, Android 18, as well as the Android 17 and Android 18 of this timeline, along with myself."
"Son Goku, Son Gohan, and Trunks all transformed into Super Saiyan 2, yet none of them could defeat me."
"Not a single one of them could even lay a finger on me."
"Piccolo possessed power comparable to theirs, yet in the end, he fell to me as well."
"Could it be that you are somehow vastly superior to them?"
The combat power of everyone in this timeline at that point: Son Goku Base Form: 1 billion Super Saiyan 1 Full Power: 50 billion Super Saiyan 2: 100 billion Son Gohan Base Form: 1.04 billion Super Saiyan 1 Full Power: 52 billion Super Saiyan 2: 104 billion Trunks Base Form: 800 million Super Saiyan 1 Full Power: 40 billion Super Saiyan 2: 80 billion Piccolo at Full Power: 60 billion
However, the Cell they faced was not the standard green Perfect Cell, but Golden Cell. Perfect Cell: 80 billion Super Perfect Cell: 160 billion Golden Cell: 16 trillion (160,000 billion)
Let me explain to all the readers: 1 "yi" here equals 1 trillion, and Golden Cell is 100 times stronger than Super Perfect Cell.
Vegeta Base Form: 10 billion Vegeta Super Saiyan 1 Full Power: 500 billion Super Saiyan 2: 1 trillion
The reason his base combat power is so extraordinarily high is because the Androids in this world appeared a full three years later than the time Future Trunks had mentioned. Coupled with the fact that Vegeta's existence in this era resembles a reincarnated Son Goku, his base combat power is slightly off the charts—though this is also due to him having used the Hyperbolic Time Chamber multiple times.
Vegeta crossed his arms and sneered.
"Heh."
"Cell, take a good look at the difference between Kakarot and the others, and myself."
Hearing this, Cell's gaze swept over Son Goku, Son Gohan, and Future Trunks.
The others felt a jolt and immediately put up their guards, bracing themselves for a sudden strike from Cell. Yet, given Cell's current strength, killing any of them would take nothing more than a single thought.
Cell then shifted his gaze to Vegeta, studying him for several solid seconds without figuring out anything unusual, until...
"Are you just stalling for time to live a few seconds longer, Vegeta?"
"I certainly don't believe you can accomplish anything remarkable with that extra tail hanging from your waist."
Vegeta shook his head, looking at Cell with utter contempt.
"What do you think?"
Without another word, Vegeta tossed an artificial moon into the sky with a single hand.
Son Goku cried out in shock: "Vegeta, are you going to transform into a Great Ape? The Great Ape form only multiplies your combat power by tenfold; it's not as strong as a Super Saiyan, is it? Besides, won't you lose control once you transform?"
Vegeta still held a degree of tolerance toward Son Goku.
"Kakarot, only a low-class warrior like you loses their sanity upon turning into a Great Ape. An elite warrior like me won't! Just watch my transformation, Kakarot!"
As he spoke, Vegeta's body swelled rapidly, and within moments, a massive brown Great Ape stood in his place.
"Oh, Dr. Gero's input data includes this form. It's weaker than a Super Saiyan—has Vegeta lost his mind?"
With glowing red eyes, the giant ape looked down at the tiny figures below, right before Cell's bewildered gaze.
The Great Ape let out a deafening roar, and its brown fur rapidly shifted into a brilliant golden hue.
"A Golden Great Ape?! Father, what is happening to you? That pressure... it's even greater than Super Saiyan 2 Full Power!"
While Future Trunks and the rest of the Z Fighters stood in utter astonishment, Cell was surprised, yet found his interest thoroughly piqued.
The Golden Great Ape form provides a 2,000-fold multiplier to base power, granting Vegeta a combat power of 20 trillion at that moment.
Next, the Earth began to tremble, and the sky let out a mournful wail. Son Goku used Instant Transmission to evacuate everyone immediately; their combat power was simply too low to withstand the pressure radiating from Vegeta's secondary transformation.
In a flash, right before Cell's eyes, the giant ape vanished, replaced by a muscular Vegeta with his upper body covered in red fur, a bare chest, and wearing leather trousers.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Cell."
With those words, Vegeta vanished in a flash and reappeared directly behind Cell.
Cell failed to catch Vegeta's movement. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead, and his expression dimmed; he knew deep down that Vegeta's power far exceeded his own.
"Ve... geta... where are you..."
Standing right behind Cell, Vegeta had already lost all interest in him. He unleashed the Final Flash to completely annihilate Cell.
(The initial multiplier for Super Saiyan 4 is 4,000 times the base form. Once Vegeta successfully transforms, his combat power reaches 20 trillion. Combined with his signature move being an evolved version of the Final Flash, his strength is even greater. Moreover, since this was Cell's first time encountering this new form, Vegeta was able to defeat him in an instant.)
We will pause the story of this timeline here. Feel free to guess at the true identity of this timeline's Vegeta. (We return to the main timeline in the next chapter.)
Additionally, I humbly beg all you dear book friends, handsome gentlemen and beautiful ladies, to click the update-request button so this humble author can gain a little more motivation!
I checked online again and found that the multipliers for Super Saiyan 1 and 2 are 60 to 80 times, while Super Saiyan Full Power has no multiplier increase and remains at 50 times, merely offering a more balanced and optimized transformation. Therefore, I will adjust the multipliers back accordingly in future chapters. Please bear with me—this is my first novel after all, and I will definitely make fewer mistakes moving forward.
