Sukuna's lips twitched for a moment, and he averted his gaze in silence for a long time before murmuring, "I certainly never acknowledged you as my friend."
Hearing this, Kamiyado merely smiled.
Perhaps feeling that the atmosphere was becoming too heavy, Kamiyado changed the subject. "Don't you want to know what the other Binding Vows were? They're all quite interesting..."
*As if something like that could possibly be interesting?!* Sukuna thought to himself.
Yet, despite these thoughts, Sukuna snapped his gaze upward before letting it slowly sink back down. "Not interested."
If the very first Binding Vow could entail such a condition that offered him no benefit whatsoever, what difference would the subsequent ones make?
Would listening to them only make him feel worse? The King of Curses had already lost enough face today!
Having failed to change the subject, Kamiyado pouted. "Fine!"
After waiting for a moment and realizing that the other person truly had no intention of continuing, the tsundere Sukuna couldn't help letting out a cold snort in the privacy of his mind.
"It's not like you can't tell me..." A light, breezy voice drifted over.
Kamiyado turned his head to look at Sukuna, who immediately turned his head away again, refusing to let him look.
Kamiyado smiled silently, gazing gently at the several black curse markings on the back of Sukuna's neck, and raised a hand to pat his broad shoulder.
"Forget it, let's just talk about one more... Well, I won't tell you the specific details, because it's pretty much already expired anyway."
"Once you realize that I'm still alive, your memories of me will gradually recover."
"After all, a Binding Vow is determined by the subjective consciousness of the one who paid the price."
"It won't take too long either; you'll remember everything completely very soon."
"Tell me—how much do you remember about me now?"
With razor-sharp precision, Sukuna seized upon the crucial point. "Then this Binding Vow... it has to do with your death?"
"Making me think you were dead, and then making me forget you?"
"You really had the nerve to do that!"
Kamiyado's mouth twitched.
Oh great, it seemed they were about to loop right back around to the dark history and settling accounts.
*No way!* (Kamiyado put on a deadpan face and struck a dramatic rejection pose.)
Fortunately, seeing that Kamiyado genuinely didn't want to keep talking about these old matters, Sukuna cooperatively changed the subject as well.
"I haven't remembered much, just a few glimpses of us spending time together ordinarily."
Kamiyado touched his chin, looking somewhat regretful. "You didn't remember how you always used to bite me?"
At these words, Sukuna abruptly choked on his own saliva, giving a couple of dry coughs. "Cough, cough... What on earth are you talking about?!"
Without answering, Kamiyado unfastened the sash at his waist.
Under Sukuna's stunned gaze, Kamiyado slipped the upper half of his garments down to his forearms, baring shoulders so fair they seemed to radiate light.
It was as aesthetically pleasing and exquisite as a work of art, yet it stirred a desire to defile and destroy it by staining it with other colors.
At a single glance, one could easily imagine just how sweet, delicious, rich, and mellow this flesh truly was.
Sukuna stood somewhat dazed, losing consciousness for a brief moment the moment he heard that seductive, coaxing whisper.
"Want a bite? Here, take it..."
When Sukuna finally came to his senses, his teeth were already sunk into Kamiyado's shoulder.
Kamiyado was encircled entirely within his arms, held in a powerful grip, and bitten with formidable force.
Sharp canine teeth pierced deeply into flesh and skin, and the taste of fresh blood flooded his mouth—just as sweet as he had imagined, utterly irresistible.
With every ounce of his remaining strength, Sukuna fought to restrain the urge to bite deeper and harder, terrified that he might genuinely injure this person.
Yet he could not control it.
It acted like a mind-altering poison, instantly addictive, with a potency so fierce that he completely refused to loosen his bite.
His mind drifted upward, swaying mid-air, entirely incapable of controlling his physical body by even a fraction, leaving him at the mercy of pure instinct.
And yet, aggravatingly, this person was indulging him without a care in the world.
Kamiyado raised both arms to wrap them around Sukuna's head, whispering softly, "You are forbidden from liking human meat."
*He really still remembers,* Sukuna thought.
"If you're truly going to eat anything, you can only eat me. Do you hear me?!"
With hot breath puffing from his nostrils, Sukuna emitted a muffled grunt of assent, then used his strength to pin the other person down beneath him.
Yielding to the desire rising within his heart, he bit down heavier and harder, as if intent on tearing a chunk of flesh right off that shoulder...
After who knows how long, Sukuna finally propped himself up and released Kamiyado.
Seeing the circle of bloody bite marks on Kamiyado's shoulder, Sukuna rubbed the bridge of his nose in lingering embarrassment.
He healed the injuries with Reverse Cursed Technique and personally dressed him again.
Kamiyado shrugged his somewhat stiffened shoulders and quietly announced that this meeting was coming to an end.
Sukuna felt a momentary reluctance to let him go.
Yet having just been thoroughly satisfied, he was in an exceptionally good mood; after a brief hesitation, he lifted his chin and generously agreed.
"Leave if you want."
Kamiyado curved the corners of his lips. "Don't worry, we'll see each other again soon. I'll cook up a feast for you then."
As for that, Sukuna didn't particularly care.
No matter how delicious the food might be, it could never rival the youth himself.
Kamiyado stood up, and before his form dissolved away, he promised Sukuna softly, "I won't let you stay in here for too long. I'm going to take you out."
"By then, the two of us... oh, and we can bring little Uraume along too. The three of us will find a nice place and live a good life."
Gazing at the blood-red world before him, Sukuna slowly began to ponder Kamiyado's recent words.
*Uraume? That brat is still alive too?*
*What should I do... I only want a world for the two of us, you know?*
*Should I just secretly slice Uraume into pieces?*
Uraume: *...Lord Sukunaaaaaaaaa (marmot screaming.jpg)!!!!!*
Ura·Fanatic Chef·ume twisted his form, writhing and crawling in the gloom—>twisting once more, crawling and writhing in the gloom, then abruptly leaping to his feet: *Just chop me into pieces, it would be my supreme honor!*
Sukuna: *...Take your chastity and crawl far away.*
