Chapter 12

When Yuji woke up and dazedly opened his eyes, he saw Kamiyado sitting in the sunlight on a nearby stool.
He instantly snapped awake, stealing a couple of glances and feeling deep down that Senior Kamiyado was outrageously good-looking.
He really was so handsome! Were all Jujutsu Sorcerers this attractive?
Teacher Gojo was good-looking, and Fushiguro Megumi was good-looking—each one was better-looking than the last!
Suddenly, he felt like he wasn't really suited to join the ranks of Jujutsu Sorcerers...
Kamiyado hadn't actually been resting; he had just had his eyes closed.
Noticing through his "Six Eyes" that Yuji was awake, he opened his eyes, calmly glanced at the pink-haired teenager, and then stood up and walked out of the bedroom.
Yuji scratched his head, climbed out of bed in a daze, and headed into the bathroom to wash up.
As the "Tiger of Nishi Junior High," his morning routine was executed at lightning speed.
Bolting out of the room like a flying arrow, he eagerly shouted, "Senior Kamiyado, let's go together to..." have breakfast—huh?
The rest of his words came to an abrupt halt.
With shock in his eyes, Yuji stared at the figure in the kitchen who was already wearing a cute little bear apron and beating eggs.
Kamiyado turned his head slightly to look at him, his voice flat: "I'm making breakfast. You can wait a moment."
Although he had known beforehand that Senior Kamiyado could cook, actually seeing it still didn't soften the visual impact.
Even though he always wore an ice-cold expression, Kamiyado was simply too good-looking to be hindered by it.
Wearing a little bear apron gave him an intensely contrasting, adorable vibe!
Getting fed by such a great beauty felt amazing no matter how you thought about it!
Yuji snapped to attention and replied with full breath: "Yoshi! Understood, Senior Kamiyado."
The teenager drifted away, completely enveloped in bubbles of happiness.
Just as Kamiyado turned his head back to stare at the plastic basin in front of him, the drifting teenager suddenly poked his head out from the kitchen doorway, a look of well-meaning confusion on his face: "Senior Kamiyado, do you know how to use the things in the kitchen?"
Kamiyado: ......
What now? It seemed like he really didn't know how at all.
Kamiyado paused his movements and said softly, "I can study it slowly."
Yuji carefully looked at the item in his hand for a long time, then tentatively asked, "Senior Kamiyado, what are you using to beat those eggs?"
Kamiyado blinked, raised his right hand, and revealed an utterly unpretentious iron spoon.
A few black lines popped up on Yuji's forehead: "Senior Kamiyado, they actually make dedicated egg-beaters for that."
Kamiyado blinked again, a momentary flash of bewildered ignorance seeming to cross his expressionless face.
Suppressing his laughter, Yuji took a few steps forward and was just about to say he could help when a deep, gravelly voice stopped him.
Watching this scene unfold from within Yuji's inner world, Sukuna narrowed his dark red eyes and spoke in a dangerous tone: "Brat, don't you dare!"
Yuji: ......
The pink-haired teenager shrugged in confusion and obediently stood right where he was.
After all, his current impression of both the so-called King of Curses inside him and Senior Kamiyado was pretty good.
That bloody and brutal history was, after all, just hearsay (?); he hadn't truly experienced or understood it, and didn't take it too seriously.
Even if these two... really were executioners with blood on their hands, they had never shown a savage side in front of him.
While Sukuna spoke quite fiercely and with plenty of oppression, he hadn't actually done anything out of line.
As for Senior Kamiyado, he had saved his two upperclassmen and could be considered to have saved Fushiguro Megumi as well.
Anyway—right now, in his eyes, these two were simply ancient seniors who had lived for a thousand years.
Even though living that long was a bit hard for an ordinary person (?) like him to accept, he had decided to respect the "elders" and "cherish the elders"!
Yuji—the little angel of human society—felt a tiny bit proud of having such an epiphany and lifted his chin slightly.
After a moment of silence in his mind, the voice spoke up again, sounding somewhat bashful: "Brat, let me out."
Yuji: ...... So, am I being treated as part of some weird roleplay?!
He was speechless for a moment, then looked at Kamiyado with inquiring eyes. Kamiyado looked back at him at that exact moment.
The handsome young man suddenly curved the corner of his lips: "You can let him out, it's fine."
With official approval, Yuji didn't hesitate any longer, instantly logging off and letting Sukuna take over.
The King of Curses was super duper nice under Senior Kamiyado's discipline!
Sensing the brat's thoughts, Sukuna let out a rather disdainful snort.
Kamiyado discipline him?! What a joke! It was *he* who permitted Kamiyado to manage him, okay?! The initiative was in his hands!
After Sukuna possessed the body, not only did curse markings appear on his face, but Yuji's normally soft, drooping hair also automatically spiked up.
He subconsciously brushed his hair back with his hand, then slowly strolled over to Kamiyado with his hands in his pockets. His voice was equally unhurried, carrying a seductive and unconsciously magnetic allure: "What do you want to do?"
Kamiyado lowered his gaze to look at the pink-haired teenager (?) who had walked up to him and replied flatly, "I'm making a small cake for you." To make up for the little regret of you not getting to eat one last night.
However, Sukuna acutely caught the movement of him lowering his gaze.
Kamiyado was nearly ten centimeters taller than Yuji, which meant Sukuna, once possessing him, had to look up at him.
Having always reigned supreme in his Innate Domain and standing a few centimeters taller than Kamiyado, Sukuna suddenly felt displeased.
He viciously asked the brat—who was sitting inside his Innate Domain hammering bones—"Why are you so short?"
Yuji went "ah": "I'm only fifteen, you know. This height is pretty good for now... Besides, I've never seen how tall you are either. Scolding me without bringing out any proof is totally unreasonable!"
Sukuna hammered away at Yuji's self-esteem, one word at a time: "Your grandpa here is one-ninety centimeters tall! Is this proof enough, you shorty?"
Yuji didn't speak, silently burying himself in the pile of bones in an attempt to chew on skulls for minerals and instantly shoot up in height.
Sukuna snorted. Just then, Kamiyado pointed to a square, hollow iron box and asked what it was.
Dropping his sadistic teasing of the brat, Sukuna lazily followed Kamiyado's fingertip with his gaze while rapidly pulling up the memories belonging to Itadori Yuji that had flooded in ever since he awakened.
"This is a microwave, used for heating things up..."
Sukuna quickly took on the role of a kitchen appliance tutor, endlessly introducing the ins and outs of modern-day kitchens to Kamiyado.
Refrigerator, oven, toaster, stove... In short, everything in Yuji's house was explained crystal clear by Sukuna, leaving nothing out.
Kamiyado listened with extreme seriousness, his focused expression making it seem as though, had he been holding paper and pen, he would have already taken countless notes.
He was also very supportive, chiming in from time to time and expressing unreserved amazement whenever he heard a function he found magical.
All in all, Sukuna thoroughly enjoyed teaching him.
After explaining the final kitchen appliance, Kamiyado smiled gently at Sukuna: "Ah-Na, you're amazing!"
Sukuna lowered his eyelids and looked at him for a moment, then suddenly turned his face away and softly spat out a sentence: "Hmph, look who you're talking about..."
Of course, Kamiyado wasn't the only one being supportive.
Yuji, who had been listening with rapt attention in his inner world, was equally supportive.
There were some things even he didn't know how to use, yet this thousand-year-old ghost had made entirely logical deductions, offered unique insights, and delivered sharp lessons that sounded completely feasible!
Classmate Yuji gave enthusiastic seal claps: "Wow, Sukuna, you're amazing!"
In return, he received a cold and ruthless remark from Sukuna: "Shut up, you idiot!"
Yuji: ...... Fine, fine, fine. So the thousand-year-old ghost plays favorites like this!
He wanted to hit him, but he couldn't beat him.
Yuji buried his head back into the pile of bones and went autistic.
After finishing Ah-Na's little kitchen class, Kamiyado single-mindedly began preparing breakfast for three, along with a special solo portion belonging exclusively to his Na.
He pulled a box of strawberries and a small packet of baking flour from the mountain of ingredients he had bought the night before.
Half the strawberries were put into a juicer and pureed, while the other half were chopped into small bits and set aside.
While the juicer was running, he began pouring out the flour, skillfully kneading the dough and letting it ferment several times.
Just before the final fermentation, he mixed the freshly squeezed strawberry juice and the perfectly beaten egg liquid into the dough.
When adding the sugar, Kamiyado deliberately looked back at Sukuna, who was inexplicably puffing out his cheeks in a huff.
He was momentarily stunned, failing to understand why someone would get angry over this, and had no choice but to ask: "Ah-Na, how sweet do you want it?"
Even Sukuna hadn't expected that his emotions could be so easily swayed by Kamiyado.
Kamiyado had been too focused on cooking; Sukuna had called out to him several times, but he hadn't heard.
Getting no response had instantly made Sukuna furious.
Yet, reluctant to ruin the warm and beautiful scene before him, Sukuna could only hold back his anger and puff out his cheeks.
When the man finally looked back at him, instead of caring why he was throwing a little tantrum after clearly noticing it, he was asking how sweet he wanted the cake?!
Sukuna felt even more stifled all of a sudden, yet it was too beneath him to actively blurt out the reason he was angry.
That would ruin his dignity too much!
However, the childish impulse suddenly surging in his heart made him inexplicably want to give this person a hard time.
"Make it as sweet as your blood."
Sukuna said so.
