Time Retirement Home

Broke and battling social anxiety, Gu Mo takes a live-in job at Kangfu Nursing Home—and discovers a world far richer than the one outside. Behind these walls live China's forgotten icons: supermodels from the reform era who sacrificed motherhood for their careers, abandoned parents whose successful children fled abroad, unmarried female cadres who climbed the ranks alone, and heartbroken souls mourning their only children. As Gu Mo learns their stories, she finds unexpected wisdom, second chances, and the family she never knew she needed in the twilight years of extraordinary lives.
