Wei Wuxian looked at the Lan Clan disciples with a smile and waved for them to get up. "Lan Zhan, let's leave here first! We'll go find an inn outside, and you can all return to Cloud Recesses tomorrow!" Wei Wuxian said. Lan Wangji nodded, and the group left Mo Family Village, walking into an inn. "Right this way, honored guests!" the inn's waiter called out. "Waiter, five best rooms, and bring some of your specialty dishes up to the rooms," Wei Wuxian instructed. "Right away, sir," the waiter replied. Inside the room: Lan Wangji kept gazing at Wei Wuxian. He was still dressed in black, his dark hair tied back with a red ribbon, a bright smile gracing his handsome face—everything was just as it had been sixteen years ago. "Lan Zhan, why are you staring at me? Come over and sit down!" Wei Wuxian said. Hearing this, Lan Wangji walked over and sat down opposite Wei Wuxian, his eyes still fixed on him. Soon, the food was served. As it was already quite late, the two of them ate a simple meal and prepared to rest. The inn rooms all had two beds. Wei Wuxian looked at Lan Wangji with a smile and said, "Lan Zhan, you pick a bed!" "We'll sleep in one," Lan Wangji replied. "Ah? Lan Zhan, are you joking? You want to share a bed with me?" Wei Wuxian asked. "Mn. Wei Ying, you know my feelings. So, what do you take me for?" Lan Wangji asked. Wei Wuxian chuckled. "Me? I used to consider you my lifelong confidant, but now..." "And now?" Lan Wangji asked quickly. Looking at the tense Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian spoke leisurely, "Now, huh? Well, you'd better listen carefully, Lan Zhan. Wei Ying likes you, is fond of you, wants you, wants to go on night hunts with you, wants to travel across all these mountains and rivers with you, and wants to do anything and everything with you that you wish to do." Hearing Wei Wuxian's words, Lan Wangji's eyes lit up brightly. In near disbelief, he asked, "Like me? Fond of me? Want me? And want to do anything with me that I wish to do?" Wei Wuxian did not answer him directly. Instead, with a hint of teasing, he asked Lan Wangji, "Well... Er-gege, what is it that *you* want to do with me?" Lan Wangji suddenly pulled Wei Wuxian into a tight embrace, his cool, thin lips pressing against Wei Wuxian's in a kiss so fierce it felt as though he wanted to melt Wei Wuxian into his very bones—passionate and deeply affectionate.Lan Wangji pinned Wei Ying to the bed, kissing him fiercely before the kiss gradually grew gentle. Wei Wuxian passionately responded in kind. When the kiss ended, Lan Wangji released Wei Wuxian and pulled him close, lying quietly together on the bed as Wei Wuxian's cheeks burned a deep red. Suddenly, a flash of memory crossed Wei Wuxian's mind—the time he was stolen a kiss at Baifeng Mountain. The feeling had been remarkably similar.
"Lan Zhan," Wei Wuxian said, "during the Baifeng Mountain hunt, I was kissed by someone in secret. Was that person you?"
Hearing this, the tips of Lan Wangji's ears slowly turned red. After a long silence, he finally replied, "Mn. Wei Ying..."
"Oh, Lan Zhan, it really was you!" Wei Wuxian exclaimed. "I thought it was some fairy maiden who had a secret crush on me, and I was so excited for the longest time. Lan Zhan, you really hit the jackpot—that was my very first kiss, you know!"
Startled, Lan Wangji blurted out, "Wei Wuxian, you... didn't you say at the time..."
Confused at first, Wei Wuxian broke into a grin. "Say what? Oh... that I'd been through a hundred battles? Lan Zhan, you actually believed that nonsense? I was just talking rubbish! Lan Zhan, when I found you back then, you were angry. Were you angry with yourself?"
"Mn," Lan Wangji admitted. "I knew what I did was wrong, so..."
"All right, Lan Zhan, I was the one who got kissed, and I don't care at all. What are you getting so worked up over? If you really can't let it go, how about... you let me kiss you back." No sooner had the words left his lips than Wei Wuxian pressed his mouth to Lan Wangji's. Another round of kissing followed, leaving both of them burning hot as they passionately demanded more of each other. Just as things were threatening to spin out of control, Lan Wangji pushed Wei Wuxian away and held him tightly in his arms, not letting him move.
With a slightly lowered tone, Wei Wuxian asked, "Lan Zhan, what's wrong? Don't you want me?"
Lan Wangji was also burning with heat, his inner desires crying out relentlessly. After a long moment, he finally managed to say, "Wei Ying, not now."
"Why not? I don't mind, Er-gege..."
Hearing that intensely seductive "Er-gege," Lan Wangji's gaze darkened once more. "When we get back to the Jingshi. Go to sleep!" With that, Lan Wangji closed his eyes and refused to respond no matter how much Wei Wuxian called out to him, though in his heart he silently vowed: *Wei Ying, from now on, don't even think about running away.*
