Chapter 11

Seeing Chen Xiao actually turn around and ask the Tattooed Man, Qiu Shanya and Qi Chuyao were both dumbfounded, finding it completely unbelievable.
The Tattooed Man found this somewhat ridiculous and asked, "What can you do for me?"
"I can help you smash this place up, and I hear she has a few other bars as well. I can help you smash those too," Chen Xiao said with a completely straight face.
Qiu Shanya gave Chen Xiao a resentful look. Sabotaging her own people—what on earth was this guy trying to do?
"Sure," the Tattooed Man said with a smile, nodding.
"But my help doesn't come for free. You have to give me five hundred thousand," Chen Xiao said calmly.
"Why is he so cheap?" Qiu Shanya blurted out.
Chen Xiao said calmly, "It depends on the person."
Qiu Shanya's lips twitched slightly, left utterly speechless.
This brat was clearly targeting her.
"I can give you five hundred thousand, but you have to smash this place first so I can see some sincerity from you," the Tattooed Man sneered.
Without a second thought, Chen Xiao immediately said, "No problem."
Just then, Qiu Shanya's face filled with anxiety as she suddenly stepped forward to stop him.
"No, you absolutely cannot do that."
Chen Xiao asked in confusion, "Why not?"
"You're Chuyao's fiancé, how can you help an outsider?" Qiu Shanya said as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Chen Xiao said calmly, "But you said I wasn't worthy, that I had no qualification to be her fiancé."
Hearing this, Qiu Shanya nearly coughed up a mouthful of old blood.
Chen Xiao turned and walked over to a chair, slowly raising his right foot and stomping down hard.
Bang!
The chair, already lying on the ground, instantly shattered into pieces.
Qiu Shanya's heart skipped a beat—this brat had actually gone through with it.
The Tattooed Man crossed his arms, watching the scene play out with amused detachment.
Without a word, Chen Xiao turned and walked toward the next overturned chair.
Not wanting to watch him continue smashing things, Qiu Shanya hurriedly called out, "Stop right now!"
Chen Xiao turned his head back. "Something the matter?"
Gritting her teeth, Qiu Shanya asked in a deep voice, "I won't give you five million, but let's count your test as passed, okay?"
"Fine."
Chen Xiao raised an eyebrow, looking slightly smug.
Qiu Shanya wore a helpless expression, never expecting that she would lose to this brat.
Seeing that Chen Xiao had thus passed the test, Qi Chuyao felt a quiet wave of joy inside. This guy was actually quite clever.
"Ah! If I'd known, I wouldn't have said seven days. Turns out this time limit was way too long," Chen Xiao said smugly.
Qiu Shanya's face was a mask of bitterness as she felt utterly speechless.
She had originally wanted to set up a test to make Chen Xiao realize that Qi Chuyao wasn't someone easily won over, so that he would cherish her all the more.
Yet in the end, this whole test had been for nothing.
Chen Xiao suddenly turned to look at the Tattooed Man, wearing a harmless, innocent smile.
"I've changed my mind."
The Tattooed Man froze. "What do you mean?"
"Next, I plan on smashing you guys!" Chen Xiao said in a deep voice.
As he spoke, a powerful aura suddenly erupted from his body, carrying an intense sense of oppression.
Qiu Shanya, standing nearby, was startled, her gaze toward Chen Xiao shifting entirely.
She couldn't help wondering: could this brat really take on more than twenty people all by himself?
"You little punk is actually playing me! Damn you!"
Flying into a rage from embarrassment, the Tattooed Man raised his steel pipe, pointed it at Chen Xiao, and yelled harshly, "Get him, all of you! Beat him to death!"
"Yeah!"
More than twenty men shouted in unison, their momentum imposing and grand.
Chen Xiao walked over to Qiu Shanya's side and didn't forget to remind her, "Take Chuyao and stay back so you don't get hurt."
Before the words had even faded, and before Qiu Shanya and Qi Chuyao could react, Chen Xiao's figure flashed, turning into a blur as he charged straight into the group of more than twenty men.
"Damn it, take him down!"
The twenty-plus men immediately charged at Chen Xiao as well, rushing forward as if their lives depended on it.
Chen Xiao's figure flashed continuously among the crowd, dealing out single punches with ruthless and decisive precision.
Bang, bang, bang!
It was entirely the sound of fists colliding with flesh.
The Tattooed Man's subordinates went down one after another, letting out agonizing, blood-curdling screams.
Qiu Shanya was utterly dumbfounded. This guy's combat skills were far beyond ordinary—he was ridiculously strong.
"Go for it, Chen Xiao!"
Qi Chuyao raised her fists and shouted excitedly.
Her eyes seemed to sparkle with starlight as her gaze closely followed Chen Xiao's figure.
Chen Xiao stopped in his tracks and flashed her a dashing smile.
Suddenly, one of the men was sent flying straight into the table where the Tattooed Man was standing, scaring the Tattooed Man so badly that his legs went weak and he almost sat right down on his rear.
"Boss, run! The brothers can't beat him..." the man muttered incoherently, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.
Terrified out of his wits, the Tattooed Man said with a trembling voice, "Right, right, right, I have to run."
At that moment, his legs felt like jelly. As he jumped down from the table, he unfortunately tripped and fell to the ground, the steel pipe in his hand dropping right beside him.
The moment he scrambled back to his feet, he found Chen Xiao standing right in front of him.
The Tattooed Man's face instantly turned ashen, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.
"Where are you running off to?" Chen Xiao asked.
Looking at Chen Xiao with absolute terror, the Tattooed Man didn't even hesitate before dropping to his knees with a loud thud.
"Boss, I'm begging you, spare me!"
Chen Xiao curled his lip in disgust. "You have zero backbone."
"The boss is right, I have no backbone! Please, boss, just treat me like a fart and let me go," the Tattooed Man begged pitifully.
Chen Xiao turned to look at Qiu Shanya and said softly, "I'm just taking money to solve a disaster here. Whether to spare him or not is up to you."
With a dark expression, Qiu Shanya immediately said, "We absolutely cannot let him off!"
"Minor injuries, severe injuries, or death?" Chen Xiao asked casually.
Hearing this, the Tattooed Man felt his heart violently jolt as extreme panic washed over him.
Was he really going to be finished?
"Severe injuries!" Qiu Shanya replied.
If someone were actually killed in the bar, it would severely impact future business.
"Got it."
Chen Xiao turned back around and threw a flying kick straight ahead.
Bang!
The Tattooed Man shot across the air like a falling star, flying more than ten meters away in an instant before suddenly coughing up a large mouthful of blood and passing out cold.
Chen Xiao let out a breath of stale air. "Done."
Qiu Shanya pressed her lips together, suddenly bending at the waist as she said gratefully, "Thank you for what happened today."
The sight of her spring scenery briefly spilling forth as she bent over left Chen Xiao momentarily dazed.
"Just a small favor," Chen Xiao said with a relaxed expression.
"You took down over twenty people all by yourself. You're ridiculously strong," Qi Chuyao marveled.
Chen Xiao raised an eyebrow, looking rather pleased.
This display of his had once again refreshed Qi Chuyao's understanding of his fighting prowess.
Chen Xiao turned to look at Qiu Shanya and reminded her, "There's still one more thing. I hope you'll take back what you said earlier."
Qiu Shanya thought about it seriously for a moment, then said, "Fine, I take back what I said before. You are indeed worthy of Chuyao."
A short while later, Qi Chuyao and Chen Xiao headed home.
As for the mess left behind, it naturally fell to Qiu Shanya to clean up.
Once everything was handled, she stood at the entrance of the bar and called Qi Zhenguo.
At that moment, Qi Zhenguo was lying in bed, getting ready to sleep.
"Uncle, I've already spoken to Chen Xiao about the test."
Qi Zhenguo asked with concern, "What was his reaction? Does he think it's too difficult?"
"If Chen Xiao thinks it's too difficult, you can consider lowering the bar. Don't make it too hard on the kid."
Qiu Shanya sighed helplessly and said, "Uncle, not only did he agree, but he has already passed the test."
"What the heck?"
With a face full of utter astonishment, Qi Zhenguo abruptly sat straight up in bed.
