Lin Tianchen looked with a grave expression at the injured and unconscious Zhang Lingyun, his pace quickening once more. Holding her tightly in his arms, he quickly arrived at the edge of a dense forest that seemed as though it could swallow everything in its path. Without a moment's hesitation, the three of them stepped inside. The light instantly dimmed, leaving them surrounded by an intricate tangle of leaves and vines. The place was chillingly quiet, without a single sound, save for the distinct echo of their own breathing. They slowly came to a halt. Lin Tianchen scanned his surroundings vigilantly, pondering inwardly where they ought to go next. After careful observation, he finally spotted a deep, secluded valley ahead, which seemed to conceal endless secrets. Without hesitation, he walked toward the valley and, relying on his acute perception, began a thorough search within it. At last, his efforts paid off: he found a heavily concealed cave, its entrance cleverly hidden by vines and weeds, making it nearly impossible to spot without close inspection. Lin Tianchen cautiously hoisted Zhang Lingyun onto his back, terrified of aggravating her injuries, and ducked into the cave. Close behind him, Han Yutong held a sharp long sword, her eyes like lightning. She maintained a high level of vigilance, focusing all her attention on guarding against any potential danger.
