Both ladies were spouses of workers at the tractor factory. One was Auntie Li, from whom Yuanchun had purchased a radio earlier that morning. The other was her neighbor, Auntie Zhao.
"Dabao's mom," Auntie Zhao began, "my radio was broken by my grandson yesterday. A friend of mine told me you have some for sale."
