Perhaps dampened by her mood, Feng Caihua no longer felt the joy of being in town. She silently pulled out her money and ration coupons, purchased the items her mother had instructed her to get, and then said to Yuanchun, "Yuanchun, I'm done. I’ll go wait for you at the ox cart."
Yuanchun glanced at her and nodded. "Go ahead. I still have quite a few things to buy. I’ll come find you when I’m finished."
