Yet the Crown Prince had never anticipated that not a single member of the Royalist Faction—who usually claimed to be neutral—would offer any resistance. "Ha-ha-ha!" The Crown Prince was, to some extent, out of his mind; at a time like this, he was completely devoid of caution. "Imperial Father, just look at the Royalist Faction you take so much pride in. Why is there not a single soul daring to step forward now? It just goes to show that you have sat in that seat for far too long, and they must be exhausted by it. It is high time this throne changed hands!" The Crown Prince raised a hand, and a throng of Imperial Guards placed the civil officials in the court under guard, while armed soldiers drew their blades, pointing them at the gathered military generals. He continued to rant wildly at The Emperor without the slightest restraint. With every word he uttered, The Emperor's face grew a shade darker, until finally he finished reciting his grievances.
