The Civilizational Micro-Lesson is starting again (??ω??)??
Today, we continue with the original topic: the birth of the Will Entity.
Continuing with the third major category: Combined Birth.
Combined Birth is the compatibility between spirits, much like matters between men and women, except all Consciousness Entities are genderless, and any can participate.
Combined Birth is a kind of mutual compatibility, like the flesh and blood of two individuals merging, but this is in spirit.
Similarly, They will all shrink by a circle, except this doesn't require a massive mental body; two small mental bodies are sufficient.
This is a form of uneven birth; regardless of size, it is possible. The resulting mental body will inherit the seniority of both parties, which is determined by the conditions of both.
As for why mental bodies use such an ancient method for reproduction, perhaps it's a legacy from ancient times.
In Combined Birth, most parties have feelings for each other; it's consensual, with no coercion. These emotions accumulate from the parties jointly arranging to survey a galaxy over long years.
(If a dual-galaxy scenario is encountered, the collective will dispatches two consciousness entities for exploration. However, these galaxies are on the brink of destruction; they will explode upon fusion, generating more new stars. The evolution of civilization requires long waits, so time must be seized, hence the dispatch of two.)
Basically, these two will act as a couple, traveling around, and as their bond increases, collisions will occur, giving birth to a consciousness entity.
However, this is a minority case; very few Sixth-level civilization consciousness entities use this method for combined birth.
Cough cough!
I know what you want to ask: how Origin was born.
I cannot reveal that. As the protagonist, naturally, he must be special. This will be explained in detail later. Anyway, the three described above are not the case. I can only tell you a simple truth: the protagonist was born from the unknown.
Condensed in the sea of stars, what do you think it is?
...
Origin sat on the chair, growing more confused the more he read. What kind of books were these?! "Frommart Game Understanding," "How to Better Care for Human Organs," "Postpartum Care for Sows."
What were these? The game understanding part was somewhat comprehensible, a normal pastime. But caring for human organs became unreasonable; if the organs have been replaced with machinery, do they still need care?
What followed was even more absurd: "Postpartum Care for Sows." Was she raising pigs? Wasn't she the chief deputy general of the United Nations? Or was she taking the lead, encouraging the nobles to raise pigs together?
Truly bizarre, beyond mere strangeness. It was utterly outrageous. (?_?)
Origin could only get up and continue searching for books.
Snaian lay on the bed, no longer tossing and turning. She turned to watch Origin searching through the books and began to panic.
"Stop, don't look anymore," she anxiously got up and crawled toward Origin, who was flipping through books.
But Origin still turned a page. He originally wanted to take it out, but it seemed to be stuck by something, making a slight clicking sound, as if triggering a mechanism.
A section of the wall receded inward, emitting a golden light so bright Origin couldn't look directly at it.
Snaian hastily used the blanket to cover the opening, but it couldn't hide everything; a large portion was still exposed.
As the golden light slowly faded, Origin looked closely, only to be immediately shouted at by Snaian. "You're not allowed to look! You're not allowed to look! You can't see what's inside!" she almost shrieked, her face burning hot, flushed crimson, as if what was inside was some peculiar item.
Origin complied and looked away, turning to sit back in the chair.
He had caught a glimpse of something strange inside – it looked like a tattered piece of clothing with many holes. He couldn't figure out how she had kept it this long. Was it something from when she started her business? The clothing was entirely black, with a reflective sheen. Perhaps it was a damaged piece of armor.
There were also other strange clothes, like a hodgepodge of eras, with all sorts of attire.
But he only saw a small portion, not the whole thing.
Snaian also rushed over and pushed the book back in. Another clicking sound was heard, and a section of the wall slid out from the inside, filling the gap. Blue light emanated from the seams, as if filling the surrounding cracks, making it impossible to see where the gap had been.
"There are many clothes inside. Are you collecting them too?"
Snaian panicked momentarily, then went along with Origin's words, "Yes... yes! Ahahaha~ Actually, there's nothing interesting inside. Don't open it again in the future, okay?" She gave an awkward laugh and smoothed her messy hair.
"Okay. Why do you have so many strange books here? Do you have any normal ones?"
Hearing this, Snaian ran out of the room towards her pink room. The sound of rummaging through boxes could be heard from next door.
With hurried footsteps, Snaian reappeared, carrying a large box of books and casually tossing it in front of Origin.
Origin, meanwhile, was sitting with his legs crossed, looking quite pleased.
Imagine, a 1.7-meter-tall mature woman fussing over him, and all of it "voluntary." Moreover, he wasn't wearing anything underneath.
Now he could finally read properly.
He casually picked out a book titled "History of the United Nations" from the middle and began to flip through it.
At this moment, Snaian, panting heavily, climbed onto the bed to rest. Although she didn't feel particularly tired, the sheer heart-stopping terror she had just experienced had truly frightened her.
Fortunately, she had only seen a little. If he had seen the great treasure in the middle, she would have been utterly mortified. (╥ω╥`)
She had lived for 33 years and weathered countless storms, yet this was one of the few times she had felt true fear.
Having one's secret discovered was a terrifying thing.
Watching Origin still engrossed in his book, she calmed herself, picked up the blanket from the floor, wrapped herself in it, and lay back down on the bed. This time, she stared intently at Origin, afraid he might stir up any more trouble.
"History upholds civilization, military unifies civilization. We have become rulers of the planet, we have become one. A highly unified system allows us to live more harmoniously. We have built the National History, and for this, we praise all things..."
Origin mumbled quietly, the introduction in the synopsis. It was too peculiar... Such a highly unified system could persist for over 300 years, and this system was established through voting. Was this vote truly fair? Was there no deception at all?
Origin flipped through the contents in the night's glow, and he understood. He had comprehended.
The vote was indeed fair. It was an efficient means of governance that could continuously increase revenue and defend against external enemies during this special period.
For over 300 years, they had been troubled by these external enemies.
There had been constant invasions by enemies who frenziedly sought to plunder the humans of this world.
Their objective was to rule this planet.
And this system was an efficient system jointly created by all the people. However, as times changed, some began to become dissatisfied with this system.
