The rustling of grass and leaves drew closer and closer to me. Through my Mental Power, I could sense that just a dozen or so steps away, several stalwart men armed with sabers and axes were searching meticulously. From time to time, they spoke in an Orcs language I couldn't understand. Judging by their attire, however, it matched the outfits of the assassins I had run into last time, except that theirs looked more like traditional daily wear, with more exposed skin. They didn't look like assassins or killers at all; rather, they resembled hunters out for game. "Who on earth goes hunting in the middle of the night? Still, it looks like they're looking for something." I muttered to myself, keeping my voice very low, but one of the men in the crowd immediately turned his head toward me, frowned and stared in my direction for a moment, then gestured to his four or five companions and walked over toward me, carrying long spears.
