Gu Yifeng followed the man in black, who moved with the nimble agility of a trained fighter, weaving through the labyrinthine streets. Neither spoke; the only sounds in the quiet were the rhythmic thud of their footsteps and the steady rise and fall of their breathing. After a series of twists and turns that left Gu Yifeng completely disoriented, they halted before a grand residence. Gu Yifeng caught the moonlight and looked up. When his eyes fell upon the three flourishing, dragon-like characters carved into the gilded plaque, his pupils suddenly contracted. He turned to the man in black beside him, his voice trembling. "Prince... Prince Jing's Estate?"
