Naelys told Ghost many stories from the past. She grew more and more enthusiastic as she spoke, leaving Ghost with almost no opportunity to interject. She could only murmur in agreement from time to time, or at most ask, "And then?"
Until Ghost's stomach let out a rumble, this one-sided trip down memory lane finally came to an end.
"Ah, it's all my fault. You've traveled such a long way, you must be exhausted," Naelys said with an apologetic expression. "There is nothing here, so you should rest for a bit first. Once you've recovered your strength, just help me reinforce the ritual array to make sure the seal doesn't loosen, and then you can go back."
