Meanwhile, on the auction stage, a Babaler was giving a presentation. He said in a flattering and ingratiating tone, "Ladies and gentlemen, villains! I am your host for this auction, Eight-is-an-Eight, and it is my absolute honor to serve you all here!"
Then, raising his voice deliberately with a hint of excitement, he continued, "As you have just seen, the surprise haul of this auction turns out to be a group of Blue Tribe Ultramen from the Land of Light! Judging by their age, they're probably still high school students back in the Land of Light! What precious merchandise!" Finally, he shouted incitingly, "So, let's begin! To the highest bidder!"
The aliens in the audience responded enthusiastically, bidding with excitement. Just then, an alien pushed out a cage, and inside was none other than Aijingliya. By now, she was extremely weak and could only lean against the bars of the cage. As the aliens were busily shouting out their bids, a Babaler wearing work clothes suddenly stumbled in, covered in blood. Before Eight-is-an-Eight could even say a word, a Z-shaped optical ring flashed through the air, instantly slicing two Babaler in half at the waist.
Moments later, a blood-covered Saize walked out slowly. His appearance made every single alien present involuntarily take a step back. To their astonishment, Saize didn't have a single scratch on him, and in his hand, he was tightly gripping an alien's head.
Yet Saize didn't even glance at the aliens, walking straight toward Aijingliya. He effortlessly snapped the bars of the cage and opened a spacetime gateway. Gently placing Aijingliya inside, he turned to face the crowd of aliens, a faint smile on his face.
That smile completely infuriated the aliens present. One of the Zettonians shouted, "Don't be afraid, everyone! He's just one person, let's get him together!" With that, he summoned a powerful Zetton. At the same time, an Alien Bat summoned a giant Gomora, chiming in along with the other monsters.
Hearing this, the other aliens hurriedly summoned their own monsters. In an instant, the previously spacious auction venue became unbearably crowded; wherever one looked, there were only enemies.
A flash of disdain crossed Saize's eyes. He limbered up his joints, and his figure vanished on the spot.
The next instant, he appeared behind a monster, wrapped his arms around its head, and gave it a hard twist. With a sharp "crack," the monster's neck was snapped clean through.
Seeing this, the other monsters lunged at Saize. Unfazed, Saize wove through the pack of monsters at lightning speed, every strike precisely hitting a vital spot.
A moment later, the ground was littered with the corpses of monsters. Saize stood amidst the debris, breathing heavily, a confident smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
He then raised his hand, and black lightning crashed down, striking the group that had just closed in around him.
The black lightning came down like a sharp sword; some aliens managed to dodge in time, but a few unfortunates were struck and collapsed to the ground.
Saize sneered as he looked at the remaining aliens, a fierce glint flashing in his eyes. He walked toward them step by step, each step carrying an incomparable pressure. Feeling Saize's formidable aura, the aliens began to back up involuntarily, but they had nowhere left to run.
Saize raised his right hand, preparing to unleash a final blow to end the battle once and for all. Just then, however, an Alien Aitang suddenly launched a sneak attack from behind, thrusting a quiver full of arrows into Saize's body. Seeing this, the aliens grew excited, thinking Saize had finally been defeated.
To their astonishment, though, Saize was completely unaffected; if anything, he appeared even more majestic and invincible. He turned around and glared coldly at the Alien Aitang, his eyes filled with fury and contempt. The Alien Aitang watched in terror as his own arrows failed to pierce Saize's body, bouncing right back to shatter his skull instead.
At that moment, a dignified voice rang out: "Hear me, aliens inside! I am Zoffy, Captain of the Space Garrison in the Land of Light. I advise you to drop any pointless resistance and surrender immediately!" Hearing no response, the members of the Garrison charged in without hesitation. Yet when they entered the auction venue, the scene before them left all the Ultras dumbfounded. A group of aliens were kneeling before Saize and kowtowing, their faces filled with terror and despair.
The moment they caught sight of Zoffy and the others, those aliens scrambled toward them like drowning men clutching at a straw, crying out, "Please, hurry up and arrest us!" The Ultras had been quite puzzled at first, but when they looked up and saw corpses scattered all over the auction hall, a wave of pity welled up in their hearts. These pathetic aliens had been scared out of their wits and had completely lost the will to resist. Looking at the trembling aliens, the Ultras' anger gradually turned into sympathy and pity.
"Hello, seniors..." Saize walked up slowly and offered a soft greeting, though his voice sounded somewhat low and fatigued. The Ultras couldn't help taking a slight step back, intimidated by the intense killing intent radiating from Saize. What shocked them even more was his blood-stained body; having just come through a brutal battle, he looked like a demon walking straight out of hell, sending chills down their spines.
Zoffy, however, wasn't frightened by Saize's appearance. Instead, he stepped forward and gently patted Saize on the shoulder. His eyes filled with concern and worry, he said, "Don't act alone next time. We need to face enemies together." Zoffy knew that as an Ultra Warrior, teamwork was crucial; only by uniting as one could they overcome powerful foes.
Saize nodded silently to show he understood Zoffy's words. He knew his actions this time might have brought unnecessary trouble to everyone.
Afterward, Zoffy cast his gaze toward the direction of the spacecraft Saize had originally arrived in. Raising his hand, he sent an Ultra Sign toward the ship to let them know Saize was safe and sound, and that he would bring Saize back shortly. That Ultra Sign cut through the cosmic space like a bright beam of light, delivering the message to the spacecraft where Saize had been.
Upon receiving the information, the instructor in charge explained the whole sequence of events to everyone, telling them not to worry and that everything had been properly handled. At that moment, space suddenly tore open, and with a flash of light, Saize stepped out of the rift carrying Aijingliya. Aijingliya looked to be in fine shape now, her wounds healed—evidently having been treated by Saize using Healing Light.
Aijingliya recounted to everyone the heroic feat of Saize single-handedly slaughtering his way through the auction.
Hearing Aijingliya's account, everyone was shaken to the core. They could hardly imagine how Saize had managed to fight off numerous enemies single-handedly at the auction.
Saize set Aijingliya down, walked over to Zoffy—who had traveled back with him through the spacetime gateway—and said in a low voice, "I'm sorry for making you all worry."
Zoffy shook his head with a smile and said earnestly, "As long as you're safe and sound, that's what matters. But next time you encounter a situation like this, you must remember to consult with us. We are a team and should face difficulties together."
Saize nodded firmly and replied with a resolute look, "I understand. Thank you, Senior Zoffy." He knew his actions this time had been a bit impulsive, but he didn't regret them. Because he had successfully protected Aijingliya, and that made him feel immensely proud.
At that moment, Aijingliya stepped forward, looked gratefully at Saize, and said softly, "Thank you for saving me." Her voice was filled with sincerity and gratitude.
Saize smiled faintly and replied gently, "You're welcome, it was only right." Their eyes met, as if a special tacit understanding flowed between them.
Just then, Zoffy suddenly asked, "Saize, where did you acquire your spacetime abilities? I don't recall ever seeing you use them before." His expression carried a hint of curiosity and doubt, clearly showing a deep interest in Saize's newly displayed power.
Zoffy's question drew the attention of the other Ultramen, who all turned their gaze toward Saize, awaiting his reply. For a moment, the atmosphere grew tense as everyone waited for Saize's explanation.
Yet Saize remained silent for a moment before slowly saying, "This... is inconvenient to share." A trace of awkwardness leaked into his tone, as if he had some unspeakable difficulty.
Hearing Saize's answer, the others wore expressions of surprise and confusion. They couldn't understand why Saize was being so secretive about the source of his abilities, which only raised more questions in their minds. But since Saize was unwilling to reveal it, they couldn't press the matter further. After all, everyone had their own secrets and privacy, and respecting other people's choices was a virtue.
Meanwhile, Saize was secretly gloating to himself, thinking, *Too funny. It's obviously drawn from the System's advanced gacha pull. If I told you guys, wouldn't that expose my secret?* He knew very well that his powers came from the System—that was his biggest secret and must never be easily revealed to anyone. Therefore, he had no choice but to keep quiet and brush them off with the excuse that it was inconvenient to share.
Zoffy didn't press the issue either; after all, everyone had secrets of their own. Perhaps this was what they called the "right to privacy"! Understanding this principle well, he chose to respect and understand Saize's situation.
However, the situation that followed left the Ultras feeling rather helpless. They had originally planned to continue strolling around according to plan, but in reality, they felt more like spectators to Saize and Aijingliya publicly showing off their affection. Every single action and word was overflowing with sweetness and happiness. This atmosphere made the other Ultramen feel extremely awkward, as if they were stuck in the middle of a massive public display of romance. Yet they couldn't just walk away, so they had to bite the bullet and follow along, muttering inwardly, *Is this a casual stroll or are we just here to be fed dog food?*
The very next moment, however, their targets for venting appeared. A group of aliens came swaggering over, looking for all the world like a bunch of idloing street punks from Earth. Sauntering up to the Ultras, a few of them first looked at Saize, then let their eyes land on Aijingliya standing behind him, and flashed malicious grins as they said, "Hey babe, wanna come play with us?"
Before Saize could even make a move, however, the Ultras behind him could no longer hold back their pent-up fury. They rushed forward and began raining blows and kicks on those aliens. The Ultras swung their fists angrily, pounding mercilessly against the bodies of those aliens.
Beaten into a wretched state, the aliens looked at the Ultras in terror and stammered, "You... are you guys supposed to be... Warriors of Light? If you've got the guts, take us on one-on-one!"
Hearing this, the Ultras stepped back—not because they thought the other side had a point, but because they sensed a very familiar aura approaching. As the aura grew closer, the Ultras automatically parted a path, and Saize walked slowly into view.
At the sight of him, the aliens quickly scrambled to their feet and assumed fighting stances. But before they could even strike, Saize moved with lightning speed, instantly knocking them all to the ground.
Within moments, the several aliens were neatly kneeling on the ground, their faces so swollen their original features were unrecognizable.
The leader of the aliens raised his head with great difficulty and begged, "Big brother, please just give us a quick death! Stop torturing us like this!" As it turned out, during the fight, Saize hadn't just beaten these aliens to within an inch of their lives—he had also continuously used energy to heal their injuries, preventing them from escaping the torment of pain.
The Ultras watching nearby couldn't help breaking out in cold sweat. They had witnessed firsthand how ruthlessly Saize treated these aliens: first beating them half to death, then healing their wounds, and then beating them half to death all over again in an endless loop. Such methods were truly hair-raising.
As for Zett and Taiga, however, they didn't feel there was anything wrong with Saize's behavior. After all, they knew very well how deeply devoted Saize was to Aijingliya, and understood that he would go to any lengths to protect her. Saize had once single-handedly slaughtered his way into the cosmic black market's branch auction house just for Aijingliya, a feat that had shocked everyone. So facing these ill-intentioned aliens now, the fact that Saize hadn't outright killed them could already be considered extremely merciful.
In this universe full of danger and challenges, might and strength were the keys to survival. And as a powerful warrior, Saize's strength and determination were unquestionable. Knowing this full well, Zett and Taiga completely understood Saize's actions.
