Stunned by an Ultra slap, Orb stared at Saize in utter disbelief, his face a mask of shock. "You... why did you hit me?"
Saize maintained a solemn and righteous expression. "That's not how an Ultra Warrior fights! Ultra Warriors exist to protect the weak! This monster has already been turned into a puppet by puppet toxin, and every moment it lives is agony. Not only did you not put it out of its misery quickly, but you let it linger in this world to keep suffering—do you have any idea what you're doing?"
Meanwhile, Juggler wore a gloating expression, secretly thinking to himself, *Hahaha! Because of my close relationship with Orb, I couldn't smack him around when he was being an idiot. But now? Finally, someone's put him in his place.*
However, before he could even enjoy it for two seconds, Saize shifted back to his human form and delivered several heavy slaps to Juggler's face, making his head spin and stars dance before his eyes.
"Juggler, you little turd, this kind of sloppy fighting style of Orb's is obviously something you taught him! What kind of teaching is this? You've turned a fine warrior into this mess!" Saize glared at Juggler and scolded him loudly.
Rubbing his stinging face, Juggler silently cursed his luck. *What kind of nonsense is this? It's clearly Orb's fault, yet I'm the one taking the fall!*
Saize hadn't acted out of any genuine desire to educate Orb or Juggler, but rather because the system had just issued a new quest. *Ding!* Task prompt: Discipline Orb and Juggler using the Ultra penance method to receive one intermediate lottery draw and 500 points.
"Okay, start the draw." *Ding!* Reward acquired: Super Saiyan Bloodline.
Saize said excitedly, "System, quickly break down the berserk state and fuse it with the Super Saiyan Bloodline! That way, I'll have both berserk and the ability to grow stronger the longer I fight. This is fantastic!" He couldn't help marveling at his own brilliance.
Then, Saize asked the system, "By the way, System, how many points do I have now? Ever since you used points to redeem the Mysterious Four Ultramas to help revive yourself, my balance was wiped clean. Up to now, I've completed a total of eight tasks. With this one, that makes 5,000 points in all."
"That's still enough for one intermediate draw. Let's use this ultimate draw as well!" Saize decided decisively.
"Congratulations on acquiring: Blackening Magic Stone. It allows the user to attract extreme dark forces of various kinds to attach to themselves during blackening, transforming them into an immensely powerful dark form. Moreover, in a state of extreme anger, this stone will activate automatically."
"What the hell!" Saize couldn't help cursing, thinking to himself, *Is this forcing me to turn dark?* But he quickly realized that wasn't right, shaking his head to dismiss the thought. "No, no! I am an upright Warrior of Light—how could I ever plunge into evil?"
He quickly exited the System Space, turned to Juggler and Orb, and said, "Let's go. First, let's find that kid from the photograph and figure out what on earth happened here." Juggler and Orb nodded in agreement.
At that moment, Saize pulled Kurenai Gai in front of him and said solemnly, "Gai, you have a special sensitivity to distress signals, so you'll have to lead the way this time." Kurenai Gai took a deep breath and nodded to show he understood.
Who knows how long Saize, Juggler, and Orb walked before they finally arrived in front of a cave. Orb stopped, frowned, and said, "I sense a distress signal coming from inside this cave." Saize and Juggler exchanged glances and nodded in agreement. Thus, they cautiously stepped into the cave.
As soon as they entered, a gloomy, chilling aura rushed at them, making their hair stand on end. As the group walked carefully forward, a faint light suddenly caught their eyes. Drawing closer, they saw it was a child curled up in a corner, who had already lost all vital signs. Saize thought to himself, *Sure enough, the plot here has changed. According to the original story, this child should still be alive.*
Right at that moment, a low roar echoed from deep within the cave, growing louder and louder as if something terrifying was approaching. The group looked back in panic and saw a massive, ferocious monster appear before them. It had sharp claws and fangs, and its eyes radiated a fierce intent—it was Gomora!
Faced with this sudden monster, Juggler and Orb immediately assumed fighting stances, ready for a challenge. However, Saize raised a hand to signal them not to act rashly. He calmly observed Gomora, trying to find its weakness.
Saize watched the beast calmly and noticed it didn't seem to have any immediate intention to attack. Deciding to try communicating with it, Saize slowly approached the Gomora and spoke softly, "Little guy, why are you here? Is there a reason that brought you to this place?"
To their surprise, this Gomora actually understood Saize's words. Its hostile roars gradually grew softer. A surge of joy went through Saize as he felt he had found a breakthrough, so he continued, "Did you kill this child? I want to know the truth. If you can tell me, perhaps we can find a way to solve this problem."
Gomora shook its head in denial.
A gleam of light flashed in Saize's eyes, and a glimmer of hope welled up in his heart. It seemed this Gomora had not completely lost its sanity. He decided to try one more time, asking in a firm tone, "Then can you take us to find the culprit who harmed this child?" The Gomora seemed to understand him, hesitated for a moment, and then slowly nodded.
The group carefully climbed onto Gomora's head, gripping its hard scales tightly. Gomora took heavy strides and walked deep into the cave. Along the way, they discovered many traces of fierce battles and the remains of other monsters, sights that made their hearts pound with fear.
Finally, they arrived before a massive stone chamber. Gomora stopped at the entrance and refused to move any further, as if filled with dread of whatever lay inside. Seeing this, Saize jumped down from Gomora's head along with Orb and the child, preparing to explore this mysterious place himself.
Presumably, Beelzebub was inside this historic ruin. For this Gomora to survive in this cave with its sanity intact was truly incredible.
The three of them stepped into the stone chamber, which seemed swallowed by endless darkness—you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face. Yet, within this heart-pounding darkness, a pair of blood-red eyes slowly opened inside the chamber, resembling the gaze of a demon. Suddenly, those eyes rose slowly, and from that direction came a deafening roar that felt as though it might shatter the entire stone chamber. Seeing this, Orb instantly transformed into his giant form; the light of his transformation was like a dazzling midday sun, illuminating the entire chamber. And the owner of those crimson eyes was none other than Beelzebub! A fierce battle erupted instantly, the Ultra and the beast rapidly tangling together. To be precise, Orb was being utterly dominated and crushed by Beelzebub. After a protracted battle, Orb leaped backward to the edge of the stone wall, placed his hands in his finisher pose, and fired his special attack directly.
Beelzebub crouched down, clutching its head. But after a moment, it checked its body and found it was completely unharmed. It raised its head and looked at Orb. At that moment, Orb was still striking the pose to launch a ray, but the beam was flailing about wildly like an out-of-control dragon. Unable to withstand the recoil of the beam, Orb swayed left and right like a candle in the wind, looking as though he might tumble over at any second.
Watching Orb from the ground, Saize was filled with such intense fury that he crushed the beverage bottles he had previously won from the System Space into fine powder. Beside him, Juggler was also gripping a drink bottle, and several cracks appeared on the container in his hand.
The two exchanged glances and simultaneously swung their weapons upward from below. A streak of black sword light shot toward Beelzebub like an arrow, and Beelzebub's body was instantly sliced cleanly into four pieces, dropping to the ground with a wet *thud*.
Orb also reverted to his human form due to exhaustion.
At that moment, the host triggered a task: teach Orb using various methods until he learns how to fight. The reward for completing the task is two regular draws and 1,000 points!
Afterward, Saize strolled leisurely toward the exit and called out to Juggler to drag Kurenai Gai out. Without a word, Juggler hoisted Kurenai Gai onto his back and followed right behind Saize. Once outside the cave, Saize turned to Juggler and said with a grin, "Little Juggler, I think Orb's fighting style is way too pathetic; he really needs more practice! While we have some free time, let's both give him a proper lesson!"
"Hey! Saize, don't use such a cozy nickname!" Juggler said with a dark face.
Not long after, Orb slowly regained consciousness. The moment he opened his eyes, he saw a large palm rushing toward him from a distance, landing squarely on his face with a loud *slap*.
"The invincible Debt King is down again!" the system shouted gloatingly!
Juggler, watching the fun from the sidelines, covered his mouth and chuckled secretly. Look at Orb—both of his cheeks were swollen like steamed buns.
When Orb woke up again, Saize hauled him to his feet. "My, oh my, you're still too green! Your combat experience is seriously lacking. So, Juggler and I discussed it and decided to give you some special tutoring. Right now, the two of us are going to attack you in this form, so you'd better defend yourself well."
Kurenai Gai nodded, but suddenly a fist came smashing in, sending him flying backward like a batted bird. Immediately after, Juggler's figure materialized behind him, delivering a high kick that launched Kurenai Gai upward like a rocket.
After four days of this inhumane beating, Orb's combat and defense skills were finally starting to look like the real deal!
"Well, well, little guy, not bad!" Saize nodded approvingly with a cheerful smile. "However, that's still not enough! The difficulty is about to go up!" No sooner had he finished speaking than he and Juggler launched a simultaneous assault—one throwing punches, the other kicking—pounding Orb to the point where he could barely parry, completely unable to fight back.
Dodge and weave as he might, desperately trying to evade their attacks, Orb kept taking hits. Gritting his teeth, he refused to give in, secretly resolving to become stronger.
Finally, after being knocked down yet again, Orb hauled himself up with every ounce of strength he had. His eyes flashed with stubborn determination, and a powerful aura radiated from his body.
"Hey, looks like you're finally getting the hang of it," Saize said with a grin. "Real combat isn't that simple, though. Keep it up!"
Right at that moment, a monster dropped from above, featuring a pentagon on its stomach—it was Space Monster Bemular!
"Go on, Orb! Now's the time to test the results of your training over the past few days." Orb nodded, transforming into Ultraman Orb, and then threw a punch at Bemular. But Bemular leaped into the air and flew up, condensing light bullets on its head to fire at Orb. Knocked backward, Orb got up and released a light beam, but Beelzebub opened the pentagon on its stomach in mid-air, swallowing Orb's beam right into its belly. It then fired another light bullet from its head horns. Gai took the direct hit, collapsed to the ground, and reverted to his human form. Saize just watched Kurenai Gai there, while Juggler had already run up to hug Kurenai Gai. After standing up, Kurenai Gai raised the Orb Calibur, transformed into a beam of light, and chased off into space with Juggler.
Saize yelled at the top of his lungs, "I didn't get on! I haven't gotten on the ride yet!" and then transformed to chase after them.
