The dazzling, brilliant light of the Spark Tower poured like a golden torrent through the heavy curtains, gently bathing Saize's rosy face.
"Why does my chest feel so heavy?" Saize mumbled, his eyes still heavy with sleep as he slowly opened them. When his vision finally cleared, to his utter surprise, he saw Taming resting quietly right on his chest. Beside them lay an empty, cracked cocoon.
Saize froze for a fraction of a second, then his face lit up with joy. He carefully reached out and scooped Taming—now transformed into a humanoid form—into his arms.
