Looking up, I saw snow falling in thick, goose-feather flakes, and my footsteps crunched against the ground—it was quite an atmospheric sight. Brother Zhao, completely unbothered by the world around him, just kept his head down and marched forward. Jiang Yan, however, noticed I had fallen behind and deliberately slowed his pace to wait for me. As we walked side by side, I clearly saw a snowflake land on his long eyelashes, only to vanish the moment he blinked. Perhaps we had grown distant after not seeing each other for a while.
