The situation was critical in the extreme, as if they stood with one foot on the precipice of doom. Yet these elite warriors from various nations were battle-hardened veterans; faced with such a desperate plight, they did not panic in the slightest. The captain's gaze flashed like lightning, and he reacted swiftly, issuing calm and powerful commands for his men to form a tight defensive perimeter back-to-back. Skilfully utilizing the well-spaced buildings and complex machinery within the base as cover, they engaged the enemies, who swarmed forward like a tidal wave, in a thrilling and ferocious firefight. The weapons in the hands of the team members spat streams of fire, every shot accompanied by the screams of the enemy as shadowy figures continuously fell amidst a hail of bullets. Yet the enemies rushed forward like an endless swarm of ants, seemingly inexhaustible. As time wore on, ammunition was rapidly depleted, and the combat situation grew increasingly tense. Beads of sweat covered a team member's forehead as he anxiously shouted, "Captain, we're running low on ammunition!" His voice carried a trace of thinly veiled anxiety.
