Chapter 3

"That's enough, let's end this here, Grandpa."
"Your story is quite well-made, but unfortunately, I'm not a child anymore."
"Today isn't a day off, and I still have to go to school."
"So see you later, Grandpa!"
"Goodbye, Mom, Uncle, Grandpa, and that big guy over there!"
Having listened for a long time to what felt like a fairy tale, Jotaro Kujo finally couldn't stand it any longer.
He stood up, bid farewell to everyone one by one, and walked toward the exit.
Jotaro Kujo's behavior instantly made Joseph Joestar bristle with rage, his mustache and beard twitching!
If Holy Kujo hadn't been holding him back with all her might, Joseph Joestar probably would have used Hamon to beat his grandson to a pulp on the spot.
Mohammed Avdol and Jodio Joestar, sitting to the side, calmly sipped their coffee and watched peacefully as Jotaro Kujo walked out without a care in the world.
Mohammed Avdol was so calm because he had simply come to help, and it wasn't really his place to meddle in other people's family affairs.
More importantly, he felt that Jotaro Kujo would definitely come back in the end.
As for Jodio Joestar, he knew the plot. He knew that since Jotaro Kujo was the protagonist, this fate was inescapable.
When his adoptive sister's Stand awakened and she fell severely ill, Jotaro Kujo wouldn't have a choice—he would definitely decide to head to Egypt.
Even more importantly, the team bound for Egypt was still missing two crucial people.
Namely, the user of Silver Chariot, Jean Pierre Polnareff, and the user of Hierophant Green, Noriaki Kakyoin!
Without these two, the Stardust Crusaders would completely lack a soul, especially considering Kakyoin's famous porridge scene.
Jotaro Kujo was bound to run into Noriaki Kakyoin on his way to school today, which was why Jodio Joestar didn't stop him.
Once Jodio Joestar finished his coffee, he calmly set down his cup, looked at his still-sulking adoptive father, and spoke calmly:
"Alright, in that case, I'll be heading back first too."
"After being so busy for so long, it's about time I got some rest."
"Whenever you guys have made up your minds, just let me know."
"Oh, right, make sure to lock the door behind you when you leave."
"As for where I'm staying, it's still the same old place!"
With that, Jodio Joestar also stood up and walked toward the exit.
Arriving at the restaurant entrance, Jodio Joestar—dressed in athletic wear and wearing a baseball cap—looked up at the sun and instinctively adjusted his hat!
Then, smoothing down the collar of his shirt, he hurried toward his residence in Tokyo.
Because the other three had already left, he didn't drive; instead, he walked slowly down the street with his hands in his pockets.
As Jodio Joestar strolled leisurely, he took in the scenery along the way.
Just as he was about to reach home, Jodio Joestar's Observation Haki suddenly sensed a trace of danger.
He stopped in his tracks and looked up ahead.
At that moment, a muscular man with silver hair and black clothes walked out from a shop by the side of the road.
He looked at Jodio Joestar and smiled:
"Quite sharp senses you've got there, actually being able to pick up on my presence."
"You must be Joseph Joestar's adopted son!"
"Let me introduce myself: the name's Jean Pierre Polnareff! I'm a Stand User with a chivalrous spirit!"
"I'm here under orders from Dio Brando to get rid of you."
"I hope you won't hold it against me! Come forth, Silver Chariot!"
With that, Polnareff summoned his Stand, Silver Chariot.
Opposite him, Jodio Joestar looked at Silver Chariot and felt quite surprised by Polnareff's appearance.
According to the original turn of events, they shouldn't have encountered him until after the Stardust Crusaders' four-man group set out on their journey.
Yet, the moment Jodio Joestar remembered that this was a real world and not a fixed anime, he instantly brushed off his surprise.
Having figured that out, Jodio Joestar burst with a dazzling golden light, and The Winged Dragon of Ra was summoned.
Seeing Jodio Joestar summon The Winged Dragon of Ra, Polnareff immediately commanded Silver Chariot to charge forward with its sword raised!
Silver Chariot's attacks were as fast as lightning, its blade flashing like a silver viper as it repeatedly thrust toward The Winged Dragon of Ra from all sorts of tricky angles!
Unfortunately, The Winged Dragon of Ra was faster than Silver Chariot, and its range was far greater as well.
Consequently, despite attacking for so long, Silver Chariot failed to inflict even the slightest scratch on The Winged Dragon of Ra, and instead got hurt by the laser beams and fireballs unleashed by the dragon.
As the user, Polnareff let out yelps of agony as the feedback from the damage scorched him.
More importantly, he had overlooked one crucial detail: Jodio Joestar himself—having trained in Haki and the Six Powers—was also extremely formidable in hand-to-hand combat.
With The Winged Dragon of Ra possessing its own consciousness and a massive attack range, Jodio Joestar didn't need to worry about the Stand battle at all!
And so, Polnareff the user was in for a miserable time.
Jodio Joestar's fists wrapped completely in black Armament Haki, he pushed off the ground with the Six Powers technique Soru, turning into a blur that appeared right in front of Polnareff in the blink of an eye.
Polnareff looked on with shock in his eyes, finding it hard to believe that Jodio Joestar had suddenly materialized right before him.
But Jodio Joestar didn't care about any of that. Although he had only mastered Soru and Tekkai Ken so far among the Six Powers!
Still, as a man of the Joestar family, knowing how to throw an Ora Ora punch when beating someone up was more than enough!
As Jodio Joestar flashed a wholesome yet terrifying smile at Polnareff, the Joestar secret technique—the Ora Ora punch—commenced:
"Ora! Ora! Ora! Ora! Ora!"
Amidst a terrifying flurry of old-fashioned punches, Jodio Joestar rained a dense barrage of merciless blows directly onto Polnareff!
Poor Polnareff didn't have the slightest chance to fight back before Jodio Joestar beat him black and blue, leaving his face swollen and tragic like a pig's head!
Before passing out, his final thought was:
"Damn it all! You can't just bully people like this!"
Once Polnareff collapsed unconscious, the battle came to an unsurprising end.
Jodio Joestar looked down at Polnareff lying knocked out at his feet, first recalled his Stand, and then massaged his brow with a soft sigh:
"Looks like I won't be getting any sleep now. I'll just have to go find the old man and the others first."
With that, Jodio Joestar hoisted the unconscious Polnareff onto his shoulder, turned around, and headed back toward his Chinese restaurant.
Along the way, passing pedestrians occasionally stopped to stare at this bizarre sight.
As he walked back, Jodio Joestar kept feeling a strange sense of familiarity with this routine!
It suddenly reminded him of the time he had carried Jotaro Kujo from the police station to the parking lot!
Faced with this situation, Jodio Joestar wanted to open his mouth and complain, but he had no idea what to say.
With a helpless sigh, he simply continued silently trudging back toward his restaurant.
To his great misfortune, by the time he finally reached the restaurant, he discovered that the old man and his group had already driven away.
At that moment, Jodio Joestar felt like he had been utterly ripped off.
Yet he had no other choice, so he could only honestly hoist the unconscious Polnareff onto his back once more and trudge toward the home of his adoptive sister, Holy Kujo!
