In fact, what happened next was very much as Jodio Joestar had imagined.
After spending a long time discussing in the room, obtaining information on Dio Brando's whereabouts, and even confirming the names of their Stands, Holy Kujo's refreshments still hadn't been brought over!
Seeing this, Jodio Joestar let out a sigh as if confirming something. Then, deliberately making up an excuse to check on the kitchen, he walked out of the room.
Just as he had guessed, Holy Kujo was beginning to awaken her Stand, exactly as in the original story. Unable to control her own Stand, she had collapsed to the floor.
The only difference this time was that Holy Kujo had not collapsed in the kitchen, but right at the doorway of her own bedroom.
Seeing that the inevitable had come to pass, Jodio Joestar let out a helpless sigh. First, he carried the unconscious Holy Kujo back to her room. Then, he turned around, walked back to the tearoom, and called Joseph Joestar and Jotaro Kujo outside.
At first, the two of them were completely baffled when they were called out. But when they saw Holy Kujo lying there in a high fever, unconscious, with the ghostly shadow of morning glories wrapped around her, all color drained from their faces.
Jotaro Kujo stood anxiously to the side, not knowing what to do. Despite his usual lack of respect when speaking to Holy Kujo, the bond between mother and son was undeniable. Now that his mother had suddenly collapsed, he was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan.

"If you want to save your mother, we have to go and kill Dio Brando."

Upon hearing this, Jotaro Kujo could no longer hold back: "We need to kill Dio, is that it?"

With those words, Joseph Joestar went to find the house telephone to call his wife—Holy Kujo's mother—telling her to catch a flight immediately and hurry to Tokyo to take care of their daughter.
Meanwhile, Jodio Joestar rushed back to the tearoom and broke the news to the three people waiting inside, then began asking who wanted to leave and who wanted to stay, in order to prepare for their next steps.
Unsurprisingly, none of the three showed any intention of leaving; they all decided to stay and help the Joestar family overcome this crisis and eliminate Dio Brando.
However, although all three decided to stay, their reasons for doing so were different.
Mohammed Avdol's reason was to help his friend.
Noriaki Kakyoin, having been lonely for seventeen years, had finally met others like himself. Combined with his grudge against Dio Brando for previously controlling him, he had no intention of leaving.
As for Jean Pierre Polnareff, his reason was simple: to kill J. Geil and avenge his sister. Because Jodio Joestar had just informed him shortly before that J. Geil was a subordinate of Dio Brando, he wouldn't let Dio Brando off either.
With everyone's responses gathered, they began arranging their itinerary.
Unlike the original story, because Jean Pierre Polnareff had arrived early, everyone already knew that Dio Brando was in Egypt. Therefore, they didn't need to go through the trouble of having Jotaro Kujo use Star Platinum as a printer to copy the image of a fly, search through reference materials, and finally confirm the location, as happened in the original story.
Instead, they could book their tickets to Egypt directly.

After all, flying to Egypt took only twenty-nine hours. But if they traveled the way they did in the original story, it would take more than a month.
Naturally, if a simple method could solve the problem, he didn't want to use a troublesome one.
Thus, Jodio Joestar quickly booked the tickets for the next day and deliberately arranged for Joseph Joestar to be on a flight later than theirs!
The next day, after Suzi Q flew in from New York to take over the care of Holy Kujo, the group felt at ease heading to the airport.
Before setting off for the airport, the group stood shoulder-to-shoulder in a row, just like in the original story, extended their right legs, and struck a JoJo pose to create a classic iconic scene before finally departing.
However, what caught everyone off guard was that despite Jodio Joestar's advance calculations and arrangements, Joseph Joestar's Murphy's law regarding vehicles still took effect!
The flight that was supposed to leave on time was actually delayed, forcing them to change their tickets!
Inevitably, they ended up bumping into Joseph Joestar.
As they sat in the departure lounge waiting for the next flight, Jodio Joestar said with a look of utter despair: "Damn it! Sigh, I tried every possible way to prevent this beforehand, but I still couldn't stop the vehicle-destroying curse on you, Dad."
