The smile vanished from Pepper's face. She stared blankly at Tony in front of her, looking at the excited expression on his face. At this moment, Tony looked entirely normal; no new organs had grown on his body, and there seemed to be nothing wrong with him at all.
Yet the words he spoke made her feel as though she had fallen into an ice cellar, chilling her to the bone. This wasn't a case of escaping influence; he had already been thoroughly corrupted by Nurgle without even realizing it. It was over, completely and utterly over!
