"Fruit of the Ocean of Milk..."
Brahman looked at the box inside of which cockroaches were mating, alongside a rat aggressively violating a female mouse, a faint smile curving the corners of his mouth.
Moments later, he carried these creatures into the kitchen.
"Eat up, eat more, breed more! Hahaha!"
Laughing, Brahman tossed some food inside.
Six times—his pupil technique could only support the creation of six Seeds of Blessing. This pupil technique of his was not powerful; in fact, it could be said to be extremely weak, utterly ordinary, incapable of posing a threat to any living being. It could neither twist space nor manipulate time, nor did it possess any power to control the elements. It was simply a very mundane pupil technique.
This body had no relatives. Uchiha Brahman's parents had died long ago. Siblings? How could such a thing possibly exist?
Which meant that these eyes of his would never become the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
"How tragic!"
Uchiha Brahman said.
However, the power of the Fruit of the Ocean of Milk could not only make him much stronger, but it could also replenish his pupil power.
"For now, this will do. Breed! Breed to your heart's content!"
In the dark kitchen, Uchiha Brahman looked down at his two familiars and muttered, before yawning and going back to bed.
The next day, Uchiha Brahman woke up and walked into the kitchen.
Inside a small box, several cockroaches crawled over a pile of leftover rice. Uchiha Brahman looked down at one of the cockroaches and lowered his hand; the cockroach crawled up onto it.
"Good, it's already pregnant!"
He watched the cockroach, sensing it carefully—to be precise, reading the cockroach's memories. After confirming that it had mated last night, he nodded in satisfaction.
Then, he glanced to the side at the rat in the bucket. That rat had also finished breeding last night.
Some time later, tiny cockroaches hatched from the female cockroach's ootheca. During this period, he also caught many female mice and paired them with the rat, and a great many of those female mice were already pregnant.
In a box, a swarm of tiny, white baby cockroaches crawled out from their ootheca. Uchiha Brahman watched the scene quietly, feeling the connection that existed between himself and these tiny cockroaches.
Before long, these cockroaches grew up one after another. Uchiha Brahman picked out several of them and began scattering them across various parts of Konoha, letting them multiply to their hearts' content. At the same time, the pregnant female mice gave birth to new baby mice.
The pink little creatures squeaked. Brahman looked at the baby mice with boundless affection and rewarded the mother mice with extra food.
Time slipped quietly away. It was now Year 52 of Konoha—the year when Konoha had just weathered the Nine-Tails Rebellion, the Fourth Hokage had died, and Sarutobi Hiruzen had returned to power.
Which meant that in just a few short years, the Uchiha clan's Annihilation Night would arrive! Uchiha Brahman's current identity was simply that of an ordinary person within the Uchiha clan, a mere civilian, an inconspicuous ant.
In the original history, when the Uchiha clan's Annihilation Night descended, he would have been one of the Uchiha civilians who died at the hands of Uchiha Itachi. But now, history had changed.
In the Shinobi World, chakra existed within the bodies of all living creatures, and these weak beings were naturally no exception. After receiving the Seeds of Blessing, the amount of chakra within the bodies of these cockroaches and rats increased somewhat.
Though not by much.
Time flowed quietly by. During this period, Uchiha Brahman lived a secluded life, just as he had before transmigrating, doing nothing at all except silently cultivating more rats and more cockroaches.
At the same time, he quietly released some of the cockroaches and rats, letting them spread and multiply endlessly, and even leave Konoha to disperse to other parts of the Shinobi World.
Rats and cockroaches could arguably be said to have the fastest reproduction rates in the natural world. Following the birth of massive numbers of cockroaches and rats, the first Fruit of the Ocean of Milk was finally born.
"Hahahaha!!!"
Brahman stared at the milky-white fruit. With a thought from his mind, the fruit detached from the illusory tree and merged into Brahman's body. In an instant, he felt his strength grow, and the chakra within his body become more abundant.
Even the pupil power that had been two-sixths depleted was partially restored.
This was the power of the Fruit of the Ocean of Milk.
"Still, I won't be satisfied with just this!"
Over the next few days, Brahman went to the restroom, pinched his nose, and fished out a few maggots. After torturing one maggot until it was half-dead, he condensed a Seed of Blessing and transformed the maggot into a familiar.
Before long, the maggot turned into a fly.
Brahman then found a bunch of flies, let his fly mate with them, and bred even more maggots and flies.
The reason he had only transformed two familiars previously was out of fear that some accident might happen, causing all his transformed familiars to die.
But now, the rats and cockroaches had already established themselves and begun multiplying. They had even left Konoha and were spreading throughout the entire Shinobi World.
He no longer needed to worry about the safety of these familiars.
Even if he were to exhaust all the pupil power in his eyes right now, and some accident befell all his new familiars, he wouldn't be driven to a complete dead end with no way out.
After a massive number of familiar flies had been bred, Uchiha Brahman released most of them, issuing a single command: breed, breed! Keep breeding! Next, Uchiha Brahman found the most numerous and common type of small fish in the river.
They were finger-sized little fish.
After torturing one fish until it was on the verge of death, he created a Seed of Blessing, transformed the small fish into a familiar, and carefully raised it at home while scooping up plenty of companions for it from the river.
Some time later, a vast number of small fish hatched from the roe.
Brahman raised these small fish to maturity and then threw most of them into the river. After that, it was simply a matter of waiting for time to pass.
As long as these familiars remained alive, they would continuously provide him with power, forming Fruits of the Ocean of Milk. Even if they died, their final remnants of power would become Brahman's strength.
As for why he chose animals instead of humans—no reason other than that human reproduction rates were far too low.
If he actually went and chose humans as familiars, goodness knows how many ages it would take for him to become strong.
……
Time drifted quietly by. Uchiha Brahman didn't act like a transmigrator at all; he stuck to his previous lifestyle and did nothing.
Yet it wasn't true that he had done nothing at all.
Cockroaches, rats, flies, fish—after consuming four-sixths of his pupil power, he contracted a new creature: mosquitoes.
Furthermore, following the massive reproduction of his familiars, his pupil power had also recovered somewhat, granting him enough contract quota for two more familiars on top of his original baseline.
