Stepping out of the main hall, I headed straight home, studying the new Arm Blade all the way. Overall, its design was extremely cool—silver from end to end, with delicate patterns covering the arm guard.
The purple blade flashed with a razor-sharp edge, and judging by its keenness, it was not a bit inferior to a Long Sword. The more top-tier an armament was, the more troublesome the pre-use preparations tended to be. While a top-tier armament was easy to put on, it required a period of nurturing beforehand, using one's own power to alter its internal energy structure.
This served two purposes: first, to become familiar with its operational method, and second, to replace its original energy support with one's own power while purging the miscellaneous energies trapped inside. This process took several days and could not be rushed.
