Saga brought me back to his domain, which could also be considered his home.
As soon as we arrived, Saga began channeling his own power while observing whether the sphere of light remained stable.
I also sensed a third stream of power entering me. It carried no malice, only a pure assistance to help me gestate more perfectly. At first, I felt a slight discomfort, but a flash of light from the pendant made that sensation vanish.
I had no idea how much time had passed, but I felt that my body had taken shape—quite a substantial size, a little giant standing over twenty meters tall. External energy continued to pour in endlessly. Over the years, thanks to Saga's continuous gathering and infusion of power, I would never have gestated so smoothly otherwise.
Outside, Saga muttered to himself: "This little fellow consumes an immense amount of energy. If not for Legend's power-converging method, we really wouldn't be able to supply this energy drain. I'm so eager to see your birth; what kind of monster will the combined power of the three of us give birth to?"
"This energy consumption is enough for a Peak Legend. Could it actually cultivate an Ultimate Lifeform? If so, that would be an absolute jackpot. But using sixty percent of our three powers to cultivate an Ultimate Lifeform seems normal enough, not all that difficult. Let's go all out and push a little harder."
Time lost all meaning, slipping away slowly. I had no idea how long it had been since my body formed, but I could constantly sense an incorporeal giant observing my gestation process, occasionally sending streams of energy inward.
Until one day, the sphere of light shattered, and power rushed rapidly into my body. As I checked my physical condition, I heard a voice speak up.
"Finally born, not bad. Your life state has reached the Ultimate tier, your physical strength is there too, and your Telekinesis isn't bad either. Aside from combat prowess, you are a complete Ultimate Lifeform. Perfect."
Looking up, I saw that blue figure. Having watched plenty of Ultraman films and television, I knew who he wasn't—wait, wasn't he formed by a fusion? Is he truly existing now, or was there some piece of knowledge I missed?
I immediately bowed and paid respects. "Thank you for looking after me all these years. Without your help, I doubt I could have been born smoothly."
No emotional fluctuation could be read on Saga's face. "If you truly want to thank me, then master my techniques well. The myth of me, the God of Miracles, shall be carried on by you."
I was delighted as well. "I've just been born and know nothing. Since you are willing to teach me, I couldn't ask for anything better. I am willing to take you as my master and inherit your techniques."
Saga introduced my body to me in detail. "On the top of your head are two light-dark battle axes. On your left arm, near the shoulder, there is an interwoven light-dark sword. Familiarize yourself with your body; I'll go sort out what to teach you first." With that, he vanished.
I carefully inspected my body. My facial structure was quite similar to Noa's, while the shape on top of my head was like Saga's, resembling a crown. Hidden against my scalp were two Head Sluggers, completely imperceptible at a glance.
On my chest was a large V-shaped crystal, identical to Saga's crystal, yet shaped like Noa's—a stunningly beautiful energy core. My upper body wore a breastplate with patterns composed of white-gold, dark black, sky blue, and a touch of gold.
My body was also dominated by these three colors, separated by red lines at the junctions. My physique was sturdy, looking like an explosion of muscles, a handsome and magnificent little giant. Standing over thirty meters tall wasn't particularly important; having just been born, I could still grow, so there was nothing to fear.
I was born with four innate skills: one was Noa's signature skill, Noah Hellfire; another was Lucifer's Crazy Spark; Saga's Plasma Plasma Ray; and finally, my very own Light-Dark Slashing Ray.
When using my own power, I discovered I had two additional forms: a Light Form and a Dark Form. In the Light Form, darkness ceased to exist; the entirety of my body was white-gold, with sky blue and red lines spread across it, looking quite magnificent. It possessed a single skill called Shattering Ray.
In the Dark Form, light ceased to exist. The body was predominantly dark black, with sky blue and dark red lines distributed across it, looking extremely imposing. It possessed a skill called Slashing Ray.
With a thought, the transformation between forms was complete. I decided to test my Light-Dark Slashing Ray. Raising both hands level with my shoulders, I brought them together in front of my chest timer, then held my right hand vertically while my left palm cupped my right arm. The very first skill of my life was unleashed.
A distant peak was sliced clean in half; the power was ferocious. I reached with my right hand toward the arm beneath my left shoulder, and a sword was drawn out just like that. The blade was an interwoven convergence of light and dark, dazzling to behold—a handheld sword.
Looking at my current appearance, I was undeniably handsome, but I still felt somewhat unaccustomed to it. A perfectly fine person turned into this? Just because I enjoyed watching these things didn't mean I wished to become one. Oh well, things had already reached this point; could I take it back? Time to accept reality!
For these past days, I had been continuously familiarizing myself with my skills—six in total, not too difficult, and I had grown much more proficient. As my proficiency with the skills increased, their power grew considerably as well.
In this dangerous world, this was the skill required to make a living; I couldn't survive without mastering it. Having inherited sixty percent of the power of the three of them, my spatial proficiency was not low either. I could already open a Spacetime Tunnel right now, but I didn't dare; my combat power was ridiculously low, and going over would just be serving myself up on a silver platter.
Saga tossed a vast amount of ray knowledge toward me, including all of his own skills, handing them entirely over to me so I could practice at my leisure. He also built an Energy Tower for me to recover energy and grow.
Days passed in study, and my body quietly matured to completion—sixty-one meters tall, muscular and built like a powerhouse.
Through the long studies and Saga's guidance, I learned nearly all of his skills.
Teleportation, High-Speed Movement, Saga Ring, Saga Ultimate Fist, and all other skills—I mastered every single one without exception, and my proficiency was far from low.
With Saga's help in training my Telekinesis, it was finally on par with my actual strength.
Saga said rather abruptly: "You've learned just about enough in terms of skills. You're also capable of unleashing your strength as an Ultimate Lifeform. Your life state, physical strength, and Telekinesis are all at the Ultimate tier. Next is combat capability. I plan to let you fight two of my monsters to properly display your strength."
Curiously, I asked: "How is this strength classified, and which tier am I in?"
Saga thought for a moment and replied: "Junior warrior, Lower-Tier, Mid-Tier, Upper-Tier, Elite, Legend, Ultimate, Mythic. From Elite onward, every tier is divided into four realms: Lower, Middle, Upper, and Peak."
"Your starting point is very high. You were born an Ultimate Lifeform, and all your aspects are at the Ultimate Lower-Tier. Your comprehensive combat power can reach Mid-Tier. If your life energy, Telekinesis, or light-source beam reaches the Ultimate level, you can be called Ultimate. You are Ultimate in every aspect."
I understood my positioning. "Then I'm not half-powerful! Born invincible!"
Saga gave the back of my head a smack. "You're actually pretty pathetic right now, didn't you know? Even someone like me at the Upper Mythic tier will die if my combat prowess fails me. Enemies won't show you mercy."
"I have prepared three monsters for you to fight. God of Galactron, a mechanical monster I upgraded myself. It excels in strength and sits at the Mid-Ultimate level. Lugiel, a monster with well-rounded all-around abilities at the Ultimate Lower-Tier—it is left here to assist you, so don't go for the kill."
"The last one is someone borrowed from Delacion. He will be arriving soon. Go practice with those two first." With a casual wave of his hand, two monsters appeared.
"Pick one! If you take them both on at once, you won't have a shred of hope of winning." Saga's voice echoed across.
